Ali Örnek... I born in his neighbour Country and I can tell you that I had a great memory of this song. It remind me of my childhood. I went back to Africa in 2006 and we visit his country with my father, all the sudden I heard my father screaming at me to come to hotel reception and when I got there I could not believe Mr Kante was there taken the pictures with my father.

He was very proud of his country and married my grandma, a Caribbean woman that’s why I only know a few about mali but whenever I listen to malian/Senegalese music I feel connected to my mother land I even listen to some kora instrumental sometimes it makes me so proud of my roots you should listen to oumou sangare - saa magni 🙏🏽
