One of my favourite bands - saw them live earlier in 2023 in Cape Town - brilliant sold-out arena show. Still releasing new original music, in fact I think their latest double LP is their best ever.
What a great reaction HAP! The video goes very well with the song IMO and depicts several people from the audience and their “demons” or situations that have been traumatic to them. And at the end it zooms in on Dan Reynolds, the frontman and his past dedication of their song “It’s Time” to Tyler Robinson a young man who lost his battle with cancer. And “It’s Time” is also a really great song and definitely worth checking out. Dan Reynolds writes many of the songs for Imagine Dragons but this song had multiple writers. And frontman Dan Reynolds has revealed that he’s suffered from depression since he was a child. He’s spoken about how he does use music to help him to work through some issues. Music can be a great outlet for so many people. Anyway, this is a great song and what an insightful reaction🌻🌻🌻
I personally love Imagine Dragons with their amazing frontman Dan Reynolds and especially this song with this powerful message. They have many more great songs on various topics to offer. They write about issues that concern them or that they may have experienced themselves, so many of us can relate. Great song!! Alot going on in this song but Imo addressing the fact to a significant loved one they are dealing with a dark side of issues and for the betterment. Trying to protect them by suggesting they stay away during this time of so called Demons. Well written and relatable. Excellent analogy, Hap enjoyed your take on it.💜🎵 good song choice Phoebe!!!
That is deep! I think the song could have a couple of different meanings. But basically we all have our own demons. Some just hide it better than others. Tyler, I am sure had the time of his life when the video was made. Just glad that he got to have that opportunity.

I love you but I need you to stay away, as it is a dark time for me. Dan Reynolds is so great at getting a point across. Amazing front man. Love your analysis and interpretation of this Hap 🎼. I know the song but never really looked into lyrics deeper. The video reminds me of myself sometimes wondering about random people, total strangers I see... Wondering what is their life story, what's happening in their life, what secrets they may keep... You never know what demons people are fighting when you see them in a crowd blended with other faces and if some of them maybe need help but staying silent...Yes, moving on and healing is definitely the right way. Loved your thoughts on the song based on emotional intelligence and careful listening the music and the message of the song.

I encourage you to check out their catalogue. I find them to be a thought provoking, talented band, lead by the exceptional Dan Reynolds. He struggled growing up in the Morman church and their teachings conflicting with his own feelings on LGBTQIA+ issues, depression and marital issues. He and his wife have and inspirational story.
I like Imagine Dragons- they are a good show. Hap I know you play western songs- there is an excellent artist- Orville Peck-. So unreal- his voice is deep and rich- he has 3 albums out and quite a following. Please watch his live performance at Nashville- ‘Let Me Drown’. I think you will like it- much to discuss about him. I also like- ‘Dead of Night’ and Hope to Die’ and ‘Daytona Sands’ and ‘Hexie Mountains’. I bet you’ll like him. He’s a cowboy- wears a mask-
