Third round of the 1993 500cc Motorcycle Grand Prix Season. Wayne Rainey takes arguably his best ever victory in a race which sees the top four separated by under two seconds, with the other positions in that group consisting of Kevin Schwantz, Daryl Beattie, and Shinichi Itoh.
Also included is the podium presentation and the last thirteen laps of the 250cc race, won by Tetsuya Harada.

I wish Barry Sheene was still with us, what a lovely man
*Gone too soon aged 53 - agree.*
We miss ya Bazza 🤜💥🤛
Yes Barry Sheene is a legend, not just a awesome racer but a quality human being, rest in peace Bazza Sheene 🌹
This for me is the pinnacle of motorcycle racing. 190 - odd bhp, weighing almost nothing. Savage power. No TC or rider aids. Brutal powerband. Very unforgiving. Big balls required 🤜💥🤛
Suzuka is always my favorite Japanese track... Of course Fuji, TI Circuit and Motegi were great but Suzuka is always legendary...
Too bad Suzuka is too dangerous for modern MotoGP bikes.
@@TrickyMario7654 definitely.... Especially after Daijiro Kato's crash...
I love these two commentating
Me too.
Man, its night and day compared to motogp now. I literally hit the mute button when I watch current races....
yep the passion and the honest expert., Dazzer and Bazza, such a great combo
Barry was awesome. My daughter and I watched this race live and we both cracked up when Barry commented that a back marker had flies on the back of his helmet, a dramatic indication of his lack of speed in the race. I miss the 500s.
Yeah, it's a real shame Barry left us at just 52.
Yeah having Barry Sheen Commentating makes it good to watch as he Knows what he is talking about!! Not like the one's we have today's Drama queens
I don't consider Scott Russell, Pridmore, et al to be "drama queens".
The commentators' bias towards Beattie is just funny. So satisfying to see him lost to Rainey and Schwantz, haha.
The best: Rainey
Great race, THANK YOU!!!
Abe was my favorite he shredded that track n smoked the GP field in 94 until in classic Abe style he ate shit !
Amazing to see some 250cc sometimes!
Rainey. The reason i got into gp's
Good videos dude...
Rainey. My man...
Many riders love Suzuka but they hated Motegi
Suzuka just isn't safe any more for the world championship.
Many fans also.👍
What a master class from (mr perfection)
👏👏👏
In 93 Suzuki had a great handling bike but the Honda had the power and the only bike with fuel injection, but in 94 Honda had there bike fully sorted and blew everyone else away
Aaargh it cuts off on the last lap of the 250s. Great memories.
The person who sent me this stopped the tape midway through the final lap of the 250cc race for some reason.
@@TrickyMario7654 still great. I was obsessed with grand prix racing. My mate used to tape the races for me including qualifying and drop off the tape Monday religiously because I didn't have Satellite or cable back then. Same for WSB and BSB.
fastjaydub Down here in Australia, these races have always been shown on free-to-air TV since the 1980’s.

Damn. The 250 cc got me so tight and then ...out!
😁😁
I'm sorry, but the person who gave me this stopped the tape during the last lap.
@@TrickyMario7654 Haha okay. It was more meant as a joke but what an exiting race that was. 😊

@@TrickyMario7654 noo just stopped in the last lap.. I discovered that Capirossi fell down in that last lap (restarting and arriving in 10th place) and Harada won the race..
@@Pistomark I’m sorry it ends like that.
Magoo rode on #88, and was behind #7 at early stage. Still no ideas why Magoo retired from GP so early.
Fy Lai I think he was never the same rider after his near fatal crash at Laguna Seca in 1990.
That dumb ass should have never been allowed on a race track to begin with.
❤️❤️
Le 1 ❤️🙋
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💪
Wasn't Itoh's bike running fuel injection that year?
I think he was.
Never actually asked..but why didnt Kawasaki field a team or teams?? This is one of those OBVIOUS examples of a Honda simply being far superior to the other bikes in power...just rides right by!!
WHO WON THE 250 RACE?!?!
