    This machine is such a beast, ever since switching to this, I’ve been able to do everything and bring it to a whole different level. The machine is almost weightless and has a really tight grip. For around $400 you get everything you need from a tattoo machine, lining, packing, and shading. I have the 4.2 mm stroke which is a stronger hit and something I prefer more.

    Awesome video! It’s a great machine feels great in the hand now I do agree with the battery touch screen feature but definitely not a deal breaker for me. For only 400 dollars you get a quality machine that can line, color pack, and shade. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to upgrade and also not spend a thousand dollars on a machine. Also Element tattoo supply has definitely become my favorite supply store to order from they are very professional and always get my order from CA to TX in less than 3 days. Much love to those guys out there Bobby is a great dude, and also Tyler for posting this review on this machine.

    I love your reviews Tyler. You are the most honest for reviews on CZcams! I do have a question but not about this machine. It's time for me to get something of quality I spoke to you before about this and we narrowed it down for me between the axis Valhalla and the Vlad. I'm leaning towards the Valhalla. My question is if you choose to go wireless say with the critical battery packs on the Valhalla how does it feel? Being the machine is a little longer than the average small pens. Which I like being longer. Or should I go with FK Irons battery. So basically that's my concern down the road using it wirelessly if you can shed some light on that and give me your honest opinion I would greatly appreciate it. Oh are there any groupings the Valhalla had issues pushing like say a 18rl? Thank you Tyler. As always much much RESPECT!

    • @ThatTattooGuyOfficial
      @ThatTattooGuyOfficial  Před rokem

      Hey ! So the Valhalla with a battery compared to other pens is very tall which can be straining on your hand. I prefer other pens when it comes to wireless. Unless you have a battery that hangs off the back and not straight up.

    • @ThatTattooGuyOfficial
      @ThatTattooGuyOfficial  Před rokem +1

      And as far as pushing groupings the Valhalla did well. The vlad does much better tho

    Very nice video! I have this machine for a couple of months now, and I’m quite happy with its performance -I sold my previous Cheyenne pen and I stick to this one. About the way you wrap this machine in plastic, isn’t it hard or nearly impossible to turn the grip when the machine is covered that way?

    • @ThatTattooGuyOfficial
      @ThatTattooGuyOfficial  Před rokem +1

      Hey thanks!
      And the way I wrap it it’s very easy to turn the grip.
      Are you wrapping it in grip tape and over lapping the area it needs to turn ?

      @lordfaust_87 Před rokem

      @@ThatTattooGuyOfficial thank you for your response. Yes, I cover the grip area with wrap tape and overlapping the area it has to turn. I think I pretty much tried the way you did in the video, but for some reason the plastic gives me some tension and I cannot turn the grip properly 🤔

(I’ve watched your reviews on it) I currently have a bishop Wand Packer that I use for everything and it’s awesome. • @ThatTattooGuyOfficial
      @ThatTattooGuyOfficial  Před rokem +1

      No problem! And I have only used the wand liner. They both have the same stroke, but the motors are different. It might be slightly better just because it’s a better quality but over all I like the harder hit for bigger liners

    • @DannyLavaHead
      @DannyLavaHead Před rokem

      @@ThatTattooGuyOfficial Totally man! Not gonna lie, I'm pretty terrified of using a 5 stroke machine, even when it's pushing larger liners. Right now I'm between the Bishop Packer and the Ava EP7+, I think where I'm at in my career, the EP7 seems to be insanely good value for what it is. T-Tech also have a new membrane capillary cartridge, and I'm loving them - less worries about cross contamination. The new membrane is also square, so it stops a bit of the internal needle rotation that can happen based on the physics of rotaries pushing from a circular motion around the motor (the way the cam spins)

    sold this machine to a coworker at my studio, did not get the adaptors, nor the extra battery. after 8 months to a year of use, the battery died and i got the bishop liner while waiting for the replacement battery. took 4 months to get that, and the new one died on my coworker after ish the same amount of time.
    the touch is terrible, and under the cover its holes with springs, that if one button is not working one can fuck with the springs in said buttons hole, and it might work again. seemed unreliable so i moved on. performance is good, but all the fuzz was a bummer.
    i really liked the old ep 7, it had buttons(that sucked their own way) but that one is still going strong in the hands of another coworker. been using ava for 3 years now and 3/5 machines have failed to the point of me moving on.
    this is all hidden behind the price. good when they work, sadly they tend to break :(
    could not be happier with my vlad blad avenger 2 pro and bishop liner wand. With that I´ve got an Ava maxon for backup shader.

      Ah that sucks. Thankfully you don’t have to break the bank for one of them. It’s definitely not one of my main use machines. I throw it in rotation here and there.

      although i got two ava batteries (first gen ones with buttons). they do last me around 9 hours on the wand. buuut they charge with micro usb.... 70$ a pop, so i cant complain there.
      was in contact with ava a while, while waiting for the battery fix, and figured out the leads on the wires inside are rubbish. changed them out, tightened a few odd screws and dang that ep7 ran like a chainsaw.
      would like more ava batteries with buttons and usb-c, since they do last so long. but a boy can hope, am i right.. probably going critical battery set, if im not tempted to go back in time with the chords.
