I first took the course in 2012, then in 2013, and 2014, 2016... Maybe I am dense--but I don't really care about that. The energy which comes from the text itself, no matter what portion is absolutely palpable to me.
Through the worst of my dark night of the soul--I played the Audible version of the course on loop while I slept--and I am still here, now in 2020. To anyone in extreme pain--I totally recommend this.
And now I want to experience your way Carol. I LOVE your energy as well.

I’ve listened to this, read the bible; Eckhart Tolle; and honestly I don’t think I’ve walked any of this out even for an hour! The problem has always been practical application. It’s a great idea to just do this for a tiny amount of time every day until it comes a practise for you. If we gave everything the meaning it has for us; which we did, it soon becomes clear that nothing is actually important and it’s all quite funny.

Thank you for your course It looks great. I bought the A course in miracles book in November of 2012 in South Africa but have been very tardy with it. I have now retired in New Zealand and hope to give it my full attention. My motivation has been finding your online daily videos. I had found it very difficult doing it on my own from the book. Working on releasing all the meaning I have put into things. I so want to say it all has meaning, but I know that it doesn't when I stop allowing my ego beliefs to have a say.
I love these, thanks :-) This lesson seems very similar to social construction. I am not sure if this is distorting my view but the way I looked at this was does my cat have the same meaning of x as I do :-) It helped me in a sideways way break the absoluteness of what something "is". Thanks for sharing these :-)

Coming in for the third time I can completely “see” how this is true. It’s quite freeing really, to know that the blanket I’ve pulled in front of my eyes is my own doing. By no means am I master….. I’ll be practicing for the rest of my life. I hope it gets easier.

This lesson "I have given everything I see all the meaning it has for me" was a little easier conceptually than the first as I have seen documentaries on design and something doesn't meant that much to me if I don't know its invention or design story. Not sure why my tummy ties itself into a knot though over this. It's not a big deal.

Amazing to have this help. How much of the course does it cover. Also at 60 years old can I really change and be made new. I kinda feel it all deep inside but I don't know anything really . I want to live in love and peace and of course have joy. But I'm an old dog and get angry quickly... can it change me ??????
Can you or are you supposed to build on the lessons - I did lesson 1 and 2 on same day. Will I do 1, 2, and 3 on Day 3 etc?

Get the book, ACIM Lessons start on page 670. I read a commentary on every lesson from Jesus in the book A Year of Forgiveness…..written by Tina Spaulding. She is a channel, and Jesus speaks through her.

This lesson makes no sense to me
Assuming I haven't misunderstood it, this lesson might be easier to understand if you think of it like this - A photo of a loved one is going to mean a lot more to me because the image conjures personal memories that I experienced with that individual. But to you this same photo is just a random person, with no personal memories attached at all. Therefore it means little, if anything, to you. Every mind is blessed with their own personalized experience of 'meaning', and no other person gets to experience it the way you do:)
I've always felt that Lesson 2 explains Lesson 1, which is pretty much the theme for the remainder of the lessons. They each build upon, and add too, each other.
Pro tip - Practice committing the lesson names to memory, and you'll get to mentally watch as they begin to change the direction of your life in a way that I can't even begin to describe:)
