    I had a trip booked in June on the Wish but of course they got canceled due to not getting the ship out and ready, but the most awesome part is they gave us 50% Off!!! If we rebooked a cruise through December 31, 2023, so we changed our 3 day weekend cruise which we were going to Walt Disney World after the cruise, but we took the small amount we paid on that cruise and put it towards a 7 Day Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy!

    • @EricD
      @EricD  Před 2 lety

      I was sad for everyone who initially got their trips cancelled, but also glad Disney provided that deal! So Congrats on getting the 50% off! A 7 day cruise sounds AMAZING! Hope you have a wonderful time!

      It really does look like they've done a great job with this ship. I know many of the teens love the teen clubs and hangouts on the various Disney ships... But I feel like when I was a teen I would have been too shy for those so I totally understand the concern. haha Thanks for watching!

    i had a trip booked in july for a back to back cruise on the wish and it got canceled because of the delay in getting the ship ready. the inaugural cruise got bumped to when we were supposed to have our cruise, so we got 50% off another cruise and decided to do an alaskan cruise. it won’t be on the wish but i’m excited for when i get to explore this ship some other time!

    • @EricD
      @EricD  Před 2 lety

      While having things delayed wasn't ideal I'm glad you got that 50% of deal because of the delay! And an Alaskan cruise will be AMAZING! How exciting. And the other good news is the Wish will be waiting for you whenever you do make it onboard. Thanks for watching!

  • @malikpetty2444
    @malikpetty2444 Před 2 lety +3

    My only question for Disney is why almost all of their ships do such short cruises. Like come on. The only thing that gets in the way of my excitement for this ship is the fact it’s only going to nassua and castaway. They could’ve made a new Itenerary

    • @EricD
      @EricD  Před 2 lety +1

      I know they like the weekly 4 night and 3 night Cruise schedule because it means more guests are getting on and off the ship. But it does mean no long cruise options aboard the Wish for now. But the good news is now that the Wish will take that schedule over the Dream will be doing longer and different itineraries out of Miami, the Fantasy will continue its 7 day itineraries out of Port Canaveral. The Wonder is moving over to the West Coast long term with Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, etc. and the Magic will still be headed back to Europe this summer. But the Wish will likely be sticking with Nassau and Castaway Cay until the next ship debuts to maybe take its place in a couple of years. Thanks for watching.

  • @AmbercoolPhotography

    Do they rotate dining or do you have to choose?

    • @EricD
      @EricD  Před 2 lety +4

      They automatically schedule the dining rotation for you so you get to visit all three restaurants. So when you arrive on the ship you can look on your app and see which restaurant you will be visiting each night, menus, etc. Your wait staff will follow you to to the various restaurants each night too. Hope that helps.

    Eric have you been on this ship?it looks amazing I have no idea how this ship can make money when all the food is free. There is so much to do you would need a weeks cruise to see it all. How many days would you recommend people to book for cruise?

    • @EricD
      @EricD  Před 2 lety +2

      I haven't been on the Wish yet. The inaugural voyage will happen in July! So they are working on the finishing touches on the ship now. And Disney Cruises are costly but in all truth for how much Disney Hotel rooms cost at Disneyland and Walt Disney World plus the cost of food and park tickets... I kind of like that the cruise has those main costs all included. Currently the Wish is only doing 3 or 4 Night cruises, but some people book "Back to back" cruises. where they go on a 3 and 4 nigh cruise making it feel like a week. I'm currently scheduled for a 4 night later this summer. (The longer the better so that is why I went for 4) Hope this helps.

    • @EricD
      @EricD  Před 2 lety

      Hey Davo - The Disney Wish will begin sailing with guest in July and it will be leaving from Port Canaveral in Florida. It will be going on 3 and 4 night Cruises to the Bahama's. And to book reservations on the Wish you can go to the official Disney Cruise Line website, or if you have a Travel Agent that you like to work with they can usually help. Hope that helps :)

    Can you help me to understand? If my son is 11 years old when we sail, he can choose to go to the Oceaneer Club and/or Vibe?? Thanks!

    • @EricD
      @EricD  Před 2 lety

      Hey Amber, the Oceaneer Club is for those 3 -12, and "Edge" is for those 11-14. So if someone is 11 or 12 they can go to both of those locations. Vibe is the club for 14 - 17 year olds so in that case 14 year olds can go to either Edge or Vibe. I think Disney's thinking is not wanting the oldest kids in the younger groups feeling trapped with the younger kids and activities if they have more in common with the older groups. Hope that helps.

Thanks in advance💖

    • @EricD
      @EricD  Před 2 lety +1

      From what I've been told they will have a Pirate night on the Wish. For those on the 4 night cruises I believe they will have a special menu for pirate night and the deck party, on the 3 night they will have the deck party but no special dinner. They won't have a Marvel night, but when you have your dinner in Worlds of Marvel they will have a special Avengers show that night. Each guest will get to experience it but it will be on different nights. To help prepare check out my video on Disney Cruise room service: czcams.com/video/vI1xi0SAY0o/video.html and my video about Castaway Cay: czcams.com/video/w9ExFpSMfnQ/video.html Hope you have a great time!

    Are they still recommending mask and covid shots? My family and I have done 8 Disney cruises. We love them but not wearing a mask or getting the vaccine to get to go on it.

    • @EricD
      @EricD  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Moon Girl, as of March 11th Disney had relaxed the mask policy. So I believe masks are only required in a very few locations for example for Guests under 5 years of age who are currently ineligible to be vaccinated... They will be required to wear face coverings in Youth Activity spaces and in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique but not other areas. Vaccines are still currently required for those 5 and up. And all guests are tested before boarding the ship. As of right now Disney hasn't announced any end date to this policy, but that it can be changed as the situation improves. Thanks for watching.
