@@SlyJak2 I did set it with Cheat Engine, however things in Sly games with limits often revert back to the limit if you increase it a second time but through the game, see Sly 3's coin limit for example. I set it to 255 and it didn't revert to 99.
Okay, this is really crazy. 😂 When I was farming lives as well, I used this exact same method. Very surprised and happy that I did the best method without noticing. 😅 Nice video, good job!
Fun fact: if you get 255 lives and a gold charm, collecting 100 coins takes them away but doesn't do anything. No one thought that far ahead.
The lives max at 99, so does that happen when you continue to collect them until you theoretically reach 255?
@@SlyJak2 It maxes at 99? That's weird, I got up to 255 once.
@@SlyCooperReloadCoded How did that happen? It might be a false memory but I'm legit curious.

This is an awesome feature! I actually kind of forgot about this. I’ll have to try this method out for myself.
I agree, Raleigh’s hub world is perfect for farming lives and quickly stocking up on horseshoes.
I used this method all the time when I messed up on the miss ruby boss fight
In the PS4/PS5 classic versions, lives are redundant. You can just use the rewind feature indefinitely.
Forgot about that! This could just be guide for the other version
I kinda don't like the rewind feature and save states. It makes everything too easy for pretty much every game
Bro, I really like this channel for this type of amazing video
