Total elegance. What a terrific combination. Four cool guys and one spectacular lady. THIS is great music! Check out those little rhythmic shifts the arrangement gives us - yet the song is still the song,

Wonderful guys, great singing..... always chuckle to remember the Hertz commercial.... And as for Rosie...she broadened and deepened her sound as she got older. Never lost that voice - ever.

On the Columbia record of this song, they sing "And Goddard Lieberson's looks give me a thrill." There's a reason for that. When the Hi-Lo's signed with Columbia, A&R man Mitch Miller tried to give them the same dreadful, corny songs he gave Frank Sinatra. Lieberson, president of Columbia, told Miller to back off and let the guys pick their own songs. The guys were grateful, especially leader Gene Puerling.
