- Four cyclists set out to cross Iceland from East to West. A 1000km long unsupported journey through the center of the country. An uninhabited wilderness, just a stones throw from Europe's largest glacier. This route has never been attempted before and is considered impassable by most cyclists.
Riders Chris Burkard, Eric Batty, Emily Batty, and Adam Morka traverse Iceland on bike.

One of my favourite films when it released 3 years ago and still had the same felling when i am watching it again now. Great stuff
I was not part of this trip, but it changed my life only through the stories that chris said thru his Instagram, I'm glad that i saw most of the beautiful moments of the journey which is not in this video ❤️
What a beautiful film, scenery, and storytelling! Thanks for sharing it!
Insane and incredible. What a journey! And beautifully captured.
Unreal!
Amazing and inspiring !
Beautiful journey!
Great journey in one of the most unique places on earth!!!!
Another amazing adventure!!! Great work team!
Amazing video and trip, thanks Chris for being such a huge inspiration!!
this film is simply gorgeous. it's another inspirational cog in my yearning to bikepack Iceland. I graducate in June and i'm gifting myself a trip to iceland, with a goal of bikepacking it. the time i plan to visit is august. can you give any insight on that time of year, as well as the bike you used to traverse this beautiful but unforgiving landscape. i currently ride a trek, and i see that's what's in the film, so i was curious what bike model is that? thank you so much. any other insights too, would be greatly appreciated.
I'm watching this amazed and wondering how you got so many of those shots. The drone shots I can understand, but there are some other shots with the four of you all together, sometimes from a distance, or trailing you all, and it makes me wonder if there was another camera team? Or did you set up a camera and ride past, and then go back for it?
at the end of the movie, they said there's two cameramen and one drone pilot
How did the guys manage to shoot such a stable shot on the rocky terrain? Awesome job guys! Chris as always storyteller from another dimension :) thanks for this inspiration. I will try to make something similar in my country
Buen día Chris, soy ciclista aficionado y me gustan las aventuras. Invitado a Colombia aquí el paraíso es de color verde.
Buen video
great film!
Very inspiring!
Pretty wild. I think I could do the hard surface downhill sections! Maybe.
Hello Chris, can you share GPX with that trip?
Respect from Russian bikepackers!
Bro why don't you do CZcams shorts? You would have so much dope material.
Это просто эмэээээйзинг, нах! ❤️🚵🏻🌋
