I want 2 things out of this fight:
1. Gohan reminisces with Gokuu about their time in the Room of spirit and time being the last time they had time to really spar as equals.
2. Gohan meets and talks to Broly and is able to relate to him about what you mentioned.
I had an idea years back that Videl had a job as a therapist using martial arts to help people fix their problems. This would be a good time to have Broly and videl meet, as well as Pan.
I could see him training with goten & trunks gimme real gotenks vs realized broly for the culture

1.1 Goku bounces back that they were only equals for a brief period in the RoSaT before it was Gohan helping push him to become stronger instead of the other way around. How Gohan's talent pushed him to reach higher levels and was the reason he came out of the RoSaT so much stronger than he otherwise would have.

I think the "Camera Arc/Side-story" might impact the slice-of-life angle for Trunks and Goten, exposing the "Golden Warrior/Great Saiyman," and "Saiyaman 1 and 2."
2 angles to this. Either an editorial or tabloid about their prowess, or a documentarian approach. The Son family clearly knew a lot about Cell, and the RR Pharm could pull all the pieces together about the Son family.
I really need gohan talking to broly about controlling anger and using his power not for destruction but to protect those who he cares for. Something like what #16 did in the cell arc
The thing a lot of people don't get about Gohan is that he never really hated fighting. He hated the idea of hurting people, but he always had fun training and sparring (except at first when Piccolo kidnapped him). Gohan just has other things he would rather devote his time to. He's not a warrior, but he is a martial artist. His wife runs her own dojo. Pan trains. His family probably talk about martial arts at the dinner table all the time. It's always part of his life even when he's not actively training.
Yep. And now he's gotten over that "I don't want to hurt" and embraced the "If I don't do it, Dad'll be too busy buying Cigarrettes and Milk to prevent my family dying."

3 things I enjoyed about this.
1) Beast Mode verse mr pompadour. Power level in the billions vs power level... 6 at best.
2) Gohan, Trunks, and Goten having a good fight and even then the fusion saving the two crooks despite everything that had happened.
3) It feels like things are happening.
Yes that last bit may sound silly, but if we go back to the previous two manga arcs... our favorite scottish planet eater had a lot of build up... with it feeling wasted.
As our granola bar had a good idea or concept... yet flopped hard. Especially since 'wishing for power' feels like the greatest boring cheat. Granola had a character arc and build up to be a focus character in akin to how Future Trunks because a focus character after the Freeza Saga and even spawned his own fandom and History of Future Trunks movie...
Just to well... fade out... flop... and then be given three years left to live having literally accomplished nothing to the point they had Freeza jump back in with a new transformation to try and get some hype to salvage the mess.
Before we got stuck in the movie arc and the long year drag that was.
I ironically didn't mind the before the movie stuff with Trunks and Goten as I figured while it was a slight drag it did have promise and it was supposed to remind everyone that the two did exist after all... or to introduce them to a new audience.
Especially since you need to show the difference between FUTURE TRUNKS and Current era trunks... as let's face it... more people remember the version with a sword than the version without one.
So we got some good humor, some good fighting (both good fighting and silly fighting. I did crack a chuckle at the super hero theme fighting movies verse Gohan where they were more funny and enjoyable rather than practical.) with the promise that things are going to move up from here rather then get stuck in an annoying point.
We really do need a universe 6 arc now, broly and gohan interacting, them interacting with kale, vegeta and cabba, piccolo and the u6 namekians, goku and caulifla goten and trunks and the younger u6 saiyans, everyone has a place in the arc from just this one universe alone

What I would love to see that I think will never happen is a four-way battle. Beast vs Instinct vs Ego vs Borly. We never really seen free for all battle. I mean, in certain moments, who would team up with who. Would everyone gang up on one during power attack? If someone is in a pitch, would someone else come in for a defense or join in on the attack? That I see have potential, but it is also the moat unlikely thing to happen.

Personally, I would LOVE to see Gohan VS Broly.
AFTER they have properly met & talked about each other that is. I want to see them interact. I want to see Broly talk about his anger and his inability still to control it when he goes all out. And talk with Gohan about it.
Heck, maybe they even just do the talking during a light sparring match? Gohan & Goku's fighting are completely different compared to the other. Maybe as Broly learns about Gohan through Gohan's fighting style and all, he will be able to learn how to control his own anger?
I think that would just be perfect.
Plus: Maybe giving Broly a taste of te Earth life would help too?
I mean: Broly has basically been used to fighting and surviving for all his life. Yes, he has some comforts not that he is living on Beerus' planet and the capsule house from Bulma and all. But~ maybe living around other Saiyans that are NOT constantly training and fighting, would help him as well? It would perhaps help him get over his trauma's and give him new insights that could give him more clarity and perspective for his mind. ^^
Love seeing Gohan and Goku sparring together after a long while. Hope to see more sparring matches with Vegeta, Trunks, Goten, Broly, and especially Piccolo!

I'd REALLY like for Freeza to show up and challenge Vegeta for the Destroyer position apprenticeship just to one-up him. It feels right to me for Freeza to challenge Vegeta's ego since he has realised Goku barely has any.
Only if Vegeta gets to figure out the right way to use Ultra Ego, and then Hakai Frieza for good.

i don't think vegeta would want the job, he has hakai power sure but destroyers have to go around destroying things to keep balance (even if beerus doesn't) and he'd have to kowtow to whis more directly

I still love the red ribbon army and their androids so much, i truly want more from carmine and#15.
I still feel they can have one final hurrah if they take the camera their they are using to record everything and use that as a way to create one last android........ maybe....... perhaps....... android 21........ maybe.
Dragon ball hasn't been this refreshing and hype in a hot minute. It feels like so much is possible again. I'd love to see Gohan vs Vegeta or Gohan vs Broly! But eventually I want more piccolo love. Whether he fights Goku or Vegeta for what would be the actual first time piccolo and Vegeta fight.
One other noteworthy aspect about this fight, is that cell max was indeed far beyond ssb, and both Goku and Vegeta on their own would have definitely needed their ultra forms to beat him.
Fusion , definitely not, but it took Gohan beast to be able to overpower cell max and currently MUI Goku is at a stalemate with Gohan beast.
Now, wether or not they could have beaten cell max alone without anyone else's help is still debatable, even more so if it was just Goku vs cell max or Vegeta vs cell max, 1v1.
Regardless, someone had to be at ultra level to be able to overpower cell max.
But then again, it was only shown through two attacks from Gohan that he could outmatch a weakend and damaged cell max, maybe with both arms and at full power, Cell max might have been close to being evenly matched with someone at ultra level, we'll never truly know.
What is definitely without question, is that if anyone still thinks that just ssb or ssbkk and ssbe would have been enough to defeat cell max, you're either insane or in denial.
I had thought about Gohan's Beast form being a potential learning experience for Broly, but I hadn't even considered how nice it would be if he could go visit and learn from Kale too. ...probably because I've pretty much lost hope of them revisiting the U6 saiyans ever again, but...
If they would literally stop retelling the movies and just write original story arcs, the manga would be so much better.

with how no 15. is recording the fight would be a bit interesting maybe making something to catch up with the new forms studying it(did always like the red ribbon army's scientist couple were able to show humans could catch up and actually wreck saiyans.)/maybe carmine comedically try to cause trouble to mr. satan with how he's the only one that didn't get involved in super hero not to show up yet.
would really the most want to see gohan in a fight with broly maybe having him study his wrathful form linking it to beast/the power of the great ape(that if handled well could lead to ss4 being reintroduced.),the u6 travel would be a cool min-plot to see (especially caulifla bantering with trunks/goten & definitely broly meeting kale with cheelai's reaction to seeing another like him.:3) and like vegeta getting more closer to his calmer end of z self having gotten a clean win on goku.

I hope that once the Black Frieza Arc is finished that we finally get the U7 Saiyans finally going to visit the other Universes such as U6 since Vegeta still has that promise he made to Cabba during the Tournament of Destroyers arc of Vegeta wanting to visit U6's Planet Sadala.
Even though Goten and Trunks were kind of useless, the fact that they even included them and some of their dialogue really makes me hopeful for their future.
I think the camera bit will be used to oust Goten and Trunks secret identities. It also feels that way from the throwaway line from Gohan telling them to throw away their masks.
For Vegeta, Gohan as the eldest is representing the human/saiyan hybrids while he, Goku and Broly (and Vegeta's brother haha) are the last of the pureblood, so to see Gohan overcome the former disappointment he was and now be up to pair with Goku and himself is great
102 has been one of the best chapters in ages. Super excited to see where they will go next
I hope we get more information about Beast and what it can do aside from being a massive power boost. I've recently been conceptualizing that it could have the special ability to severely damage the energy within one's body with each attack rather than just striking at the surface like normal, as the name "Beast" could imply that it attacks everything in its path.
There's so many ways they can continue this.
I would love for Wish or for the zold Kai to explain more about Beast and Orange.
I also would love a U6 arc where we meet all of U6 (Dr Rota included) again and where Broly and Kale finally meet each other.
Then, Carmine becoming good is a possibility, but what if he uses those recordings and the RRA infos on androids for evil once more? Maybe they can somehow work with Frieza in repairing OG73 who still has Merus's powers inside him...
I would finally like to see a proper Gotenks sooner or later too.
This is an interesting period walking into a new DBS story with no idea where it’s going. Could this be the last Super arc?
With time (as silly as this may sound trying to apply some psychology to a series written mostly on the fly) I have understood more of why gohan is kinda flaky with committing to combat
1. His first encounters/first impressions of it were some of the most horrific events in the series (the saiyan attack/freezas genocide on namek) all while gohan was 5 years old no less
2. Chichis parenting: This isn’t to discount chichi, if anything she has a point sometimes that devoting your life to martial arts isn’t necessary like it is for goku, and gohan (wether you like it or not seems to agree to some extent)
3. Inherting gokus flighty nature towards responsibilities: Granted this is kind of funny reverse of goku who’s training > family/friends while gohans training < family/friends different or not, like father like son both of them won’t focus to the other unless they’re coerced into it
Masako, tell DBS to start the ritual. We have six Super Saiyans now. Tell them to make everyone SSG. Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Broly. Let's get everyone up to snuff with god ki.
Also, let's establish a new fusion pair: Gohan and Broly, the angry duo.

I really want Bulla to be super interested in sayain history. The tail is seen as something to immediately remove the second the kid is born now, so having Bulla grow up with the Oozaru form, in the prescence of Vegeta, who would know the most about the family history, woulf be interesting. Saiyan Pride has become a total meme, despite Three(mostly just one but still) saiyans being the reason the earth is still around. Would also allow a ssj4 to be shown without having it be a powerscaling fight between fans.
This is entirely just a guess on my part, but having all the main Saiyans in one location. Have Goku and Vegeta explain that they're preparing to fight Black Frieza, Goku asking Gohan for support would make Gohan and Beast relevant agian for the next arc.
Vegeta probably would chastise Goten and Trunks a bit. Though ideally they too could partake in some training as well. The over use of the Fat Gotenks gag might serve a purpose if it builds to them debuting Teen Gotenks against Black Frieza.
Berus vs everyone would be exactly what Berus as a character needs now. To demonstrate the power difference between the other saiyans and him. This could furthermore go into a general training arc for maybe the whole team with the general goal of defeating Black Freezer for good or smth like that.
I would also like some other characters to get some new powers as well.
I think they should have a Beerus vs Whis demo with all the current characters involved. Get Piccolo there too. Maybe Uub and Buu. This way, everyone knows the tiers of power in the higher realms.

Absolutely loved this chapter and loving this arc so far. Glad we’re getting different dynamics and interactions in this arc, love Broly’s progression and the homage to Future Trunks and Future Gohan, love that Goten and Trunks are the ones that came up with the name “Utimate” for Gohan’s potential unleashed state, and despite them using fat Gotenks again, I’m very happy Goten and Trunks are training again, training on Beerus’s planet, are getting more shine, and are involved in this arc.
I do feel Goten and Trunks are actually gonna truly progress more in this arc, definitely feel they’re gonna advance and expand their training as well as get new forms, I feel they’re gonna get much more motivated to evolve themselves and their potential, and I do feel the real Teen Gotenks is being saved for something else in this arc. It would be nice to see the real teen Gotenks sparring Broly as well as Ultimate Gohan, but I think the real teen Gotenks is gonna appear somewhere else in the arc, most likely to have a epic final battle against whoever the main villain of the arc will be.
Also Carmine and his henchman are recording the fights and different levels of power on Beerus’s planet, so I feel that will lead to something, hopefully it leads to Android 21 being introduced in the manga and serving as the main villain as well as her making new way more powerful Androids who serve as side and supporting villains of the arc. Also I definitely look forward to Goten and Trunks hopefully getting properly trained and mentored by Goku, Vegeta, Whis, and Gohan.
I do hope Goten and Trunks do follow the God Ki route and get Ssj God in this arc ether from participating in the Ssj God ritual and do extended advanced God ki training along with them hopefully developing their own unique enhanced versions of Ssj God or do God Ki training first and training like Vegeta did under their dads and Whis, train both in Whis’s staff and in the HTC, get Ssj2 during their training, and then get God Ki, but they have trouble achieving Ssj God cause they don’t have total control over God Ki so then they continue their training with Gohan on earth, train under both Gohan and Gamma 1, they also work on proper ki Control training while improving their control with God Ki, they hopefully develop an enhanced Ssj2 form, and then later achieve Ssj God or hopefully apply God Ki and Ssj God to the enhanced Ssj2 form they might possibly develop to achieve an enhanced Ssj2 version of Ssj God. However if they don’t get God Ki in this arc, I do hope this arc sets Goten and Trunks up to follow the God Ki route in the future and Goten and Trunks in this arc do advanced proper training and get Ssj2, Ssj3 individually without fusion, and also hopefully develop enhanced way more powerful versions of Ssj2 and Ssj3 as a way to prepare for the God Ki route.
I also hope Goten and Trunks in this arc do Spirit Control training as well to evolve themselves, become way more powerful, and because I feel Spirit Control would allow Goten and Trunks to unlock the true power of their S Cells, unlock more of their potential, feel it would allow them to enhance, master, and evolve any forms, and I feel Spirit Control would allow Goten and Trunks to also develop their own Special Spiritual Saiyan Hybrid ability, power, and form, maybe like a different of Ssj Rage that can be applied to any form. Plus it would be cool if they used Spirit Control and God Ki the arc to develop their own special Saiyan Hybrid version of Ssj God or Saiyan Hybrid version of an enhanced Ssj2 Ssj God form.
I know this is fanficy but after all the zombie cyborgs I was really wishing we would get raditz back. He was the only villain that left a in tacked corpse behind.
I would really love to see them keep with the lighthearted training tone for a bit. Maybe set up some sort of tournament, but not like a standard WMT. Like a Dojo competition. Where each fighter has a team they have to train to compete with the other teams.

I actually really like the idea of Gohan and Brody confronting their anger issues
I'm wondering if Vegeta is going to be humbled when he sees them all powered up to the max. Like he realizes that while he (barely) beat Goku in his base form, at full power he stands no chance.
I'm sad Piccolo wasn't invited to this party. It would have been great to have Orange Piccolo vs Ultra Ego Vegeta (they STILL have never fought!). Or even a tag team where its Piccolo and Gohan vs Goku and Vegeta.
Gotenks should have been the too thin version this time if they wanted to do the gag again.
It would be interesting to see how powerful Saiyans can get WITHOUT God interference (i.e. Goku and Vegeta's training with Beerus and Whis, Gohan's unlocked potential from Old Kai). Is what Future Trunks displayed that? Or perhaps we will get a SSJ4 (or similar) somewhere?
Speaking of Future Trunks, it's too bad he never got to witness Gohan Beast. To see a variant of his former mentor once again step up to the occasion. (Still think he should have stayed in the present....)

I want to see Whis talking to Gotenks about his failed fusion. Maybe Whis could Whis it by giving Goten and Trunks a fusion bracelet like in the Fusions video game so their fusion never fails. Either that, or giving them a pair of potara to keep handy.
I seriously doubt that Vegeta would ever push Bra into training to be a fighter, since her character both in the End of Z, and the Super Hero Prequel just isn't interested in fighting at all. Even if he did push her to try to train like Trunks, it likely wouldn't work. What might be more likely in the future is that just like there are subtle hints at Goku and Vegeta handing the torch over to the younger generation, Bulma does the same with Bra as a support character. After all, in the manga it's the women in the family (i.e. Tights and Bulma) who are the true tech prodigies, and it looks like Bra has that same potential. Also regarding Vegeta, I take his GULP to mean that he views Gohan as potentially stronger than Goku or himself, especially given the sweat droplet on his face in the panel despite him having a calm composure beforehand. Excited to see what the next chapter holds
I hope it's a free for all fight one winner but different folk "team up" to take on stronger characters

Redesigned Saiyaman - Same Gi, but with Bardock's armor over it with the kanji for Ox on his left chest plate, so both of his grandpa's get representation. The cape has the Kanji for "Demon" on the back, so his original master gets representation. Ox-King's helmet from OG Dragon Ball replaces the helmet Gohan originally wore.

I'm glad Gohan is getting screen time, but I don't like him dropping the Great Saiyaman identity. The show established fairly well that it's his way of protecting people without being identified, and the Super Hero Arc established people will attack Gohan's family if they know his identity. It just makes sense for him to be Great Saiyaman whenever he has to do more minor super heroics.
Imagine if they were saving "Perfect Gotenks" for a mass "everyone vs Black Frieza Fight". Now THAT would be awesome.
Hope masakox finds this, Just question not sure if it was addressed in manga we know true ultra instinct was gokus strongest form by end of Granola arc. but now we see him as stated in this chapter "lets just use our best" and goes to Perfected ultra instinct with gohan. has goku now mastered Perfected Ultra instinct to tap into emotions to that of True ultra instinct? with no draw backs if so.. this puts him above vegeta ultra ego.. unless vegeta has a new Ultra ego form.

I love this chapter we got to see Goku, Gohan, Goten, Vegeta and Trunks together in a long time. We also got to see Ultra Instinct Goku vs Gohan Beast and how far Gohan has grown to Goku. I would love to see Goku, Gohan, Goten, Vegeta, Trunks, Pan, Bra and Broly visit Planet Sadala in Universe 6.

It’s possible that Carmine and Soldier 15 end up becoming Saiyaman X1 and X2’s hype men, but another possibility to be prepared for is that they want to turn Earth’s ignorant public against the scary Saiyans. Just be ready for this to turn from bubbly to gritty real quick.

I am really hoping Carmine and 15 join the group. Either as hypemen, gadget backup, or just join forces with Bulma.
While I do understand the mindset of wanting Goten and Trunks to find something for themselves outside of fusion, they are still young and competing with people that are insanely ahead of them. I see no reason why they couldn't be the two to push fusion outside of the joke solution that never solves the big crisis of an arc. Nothing says that the fusion dance cannot be perfected in some way. We know that the time limit isn't hard set and drains faster if more power is used, what if they find away around that problem? That and maybe their version can last longer than 30 minutes now because they are so used to training with it.
I think there is plenty of room to dive further into fusion as a powerset and Goten/Trunks are the perfect characters to do it.
I think a Goku, Gohan and Goten vs Vegeta, Broly and Trunks fight would be amazing.
The manga does a much better job when its not trying to rehash what was already made into a movie.

I want Beerus to get hilariously so mad at Goku bringing everyone to his planet. That he switches the dail from Super to Z real quick, and decideds to run hands with everyone. Not like he going to destroy them or anything. He just tells Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and heck even Broly to go insane, and he'll take them all at once. Sort of how he took on the other GODs during the TOP arc. Honestly, I'll take any excuse for Beerus to run fades again.
I was thinking, as the son of the prince of all Saiyans, maybe trunks could learn to tap into the ikari power like Broly, and perhaps take it to something brand new with his saiyan forms. Tapping into the primal power of the saiyan race though his royal blood to set him apart from his future version. Heck, want it to look different? Make it orange cause why the heck not! Could say once mastering the great apes power with super saiyan in the humanoid form. It’ll change from yellow eyes (stage one ikari) red for the primal beast tapped within while in super saiyan (stage two) and finally a cool orange haired form with orange or yellow eyes with orange super saiyan hair.
Honestly I would like to see Gohan versus Vegeta, it could be a awesome battle.
