      Agreed loved seeing Izzy in this environment, this is the real in him, felt awesome to watch him in there with world class grapplers, shows you he wants to get better and I’d bet he has great jits already, looks like he would be a great training partner :)

      No hate just hes a blue belt in bjj of course hes gonna have a students mindset in bjj just like henry cejudo with striking hes super cocky fighter and arguably best wrestler in the ufc and 2 division champ and gold medalist wrestler but would never let his ego get the best of him in striking grapplers turn into complete students when it comes to striking and the same for a striker on the mats

      @@wardogMMA what I mean with "the right way" is doing technical sparring with world class grapplers. If you know anything about grappling you can see how soft and easy they move, without ego, without using too much power. This does not emply that there is "a wrong way", this is just the most effectiv way to get really good, fast.

      @@martinmachl I get what you’re saying, but at some point you need to roll hard with another guy on your level or higher to get that real life feeling. Nobody’s gonna go easy on you in a real fight. But I very much do agree with you that doing technical work with not much force also helps. I think the ideal way to train is to go soft 4 days a week and go hard once a week.

      @@wardogMMA the wrong way is somewhat similar to Ronda Rousey with her striking, went with a “boxing coach” that didn’t know what he was doing, couldn’t even teach her the fundamentals of boxing i.e keeping your hands up or blocking a jab. Only sparred boxing, no kicks no mma rounds etc. Hence she got exposed. Here you can see that adesanya is training with atos, one of the best teams in bjj and rolls with champions

      @@aristolochene world class gym with lots of good Jiu Jitsu competitors coming out of it, it’s good for everyone, he gets world class training and gets to show he’s training with some of the best, and they get to show they’re good enough to train UFC champions.

      I am a fan of Izzy, but I don’t anyone can be a goat with just superb striking. I think superb wrestling and ground work is probably more important when it comes to trying to be the goat. Izzy has a lot of work to do with his takedowns and jiu Jitsu.

      @@martialmusicman : Well, Isreal is in great hands. Looking forward to seeing him tap Bones Jones next year around labor day weekend in Raiders stadium in Las Vegas
      Well, being in the Los Angels area, I don't envy the san Diego area for anything except ATOS Jiu jitsu school. I wish they offered online training courses. I'd be the first in line. Gracie schools dominate Los Angels, but I'm more drawn to 12 planet schools. Open mat sundays is not the right environment for my growth. I'm a lump of clay with respect to Jiu jitsu.
      My time schedule doesn't allow me to attend 12the planet classes.
      Hopefully ATOS will revolutionize distance jiu jitsu training at an affordable price range, if so I'm signing up the entire family.

      I just love how the media is putting these two on the same level, although one guy has a body count against people you've heard of, whilst the other has a body count of a few you probably don't know. Khamzat Lesnar, wanting that main event fight without earning a thing, and the fans just lap it up. You guys need to add 'White' to your last name since he'd be advocating a main event fight like this since he doesn't care if a fight is warranted or not as it's all about that $$$$$$

      He has stuffed several take downs and gotten up from several takedowns too.

      @Da BLACK FLASH I believe they're both intelligent fighters with Jon having more experience fighting the big names. Izzy's striking is no doubt top notch. If they do meet in the cage someday, it'll be a chess match of the highest order. Experience goes to Jon and Youth goes to Izzy.

      @@Quantum3691 yeah but there's a major difference between "decent ground game" and "as good as his striking". Like I said before, his striking is so high level, I don't think he'd ever reach the same heights in grappling. It's just too high of a level.

      @Inverted Heel Hook true but remember they are elite fighting against elites in a specific ruleset, the more efficient their training the better, why should they causally bjj roll in rashguards if the mma fight is gonna happen with gloves on and in a cage? This is not just a hobby for them... its the way they make a living

    What I love the most is that as the one of the Best UFC fighter in the world he was humble enough to go out there @atos and credit to all the black belt of Atos. You treated him well, made it challenging enough for home to feel the difference of level and the long road ahead of him to become top level in BJJ. Nice videos, the fighting community wins. Oss
