I’m just at the part with the HORRIBLE teacher, did no one ever tell them they scar us for LIFE????? I got yelled at one time for doing too much homework, because I thought it was so much fun! First grade! Yelled at at the door, showing my work! I wonder what that does to a “good girl”. My mom was SO mad at the teacher, so that helped. Anyway, what I was going to say 😂 was that I had your “library”, but with another word. We were growing marigolds in class, like we each had a little pot plant to grow. And they are also called tagetes, which is the word we use in Swedish. Only I called them diabetes instead 😂😂😂 You did so well! Honestly, these 24hr challenges are kind of ridiculous 😊 I’m curious to try it too, don’t get me wrong, and I enjoyed the video! But listening to yourself and being kind to yourself is such a bigger and better goal. No shame! No bad self talk! Great job! Great fun! And I do want to get to the midnight library at some point. I’ve heard that it’s a bit repetitive, which I don’t love, but I’m curious. I’m glad you liked it. Now get some sleep 💜
Hey Ellen!!! OMG I know right, a lot of folks just do not realize the impact they have in our lives! What in the world, who would ever yell at someone for having fun doing homework LOL! If I was your teacher I would be beaming that the homework that was created was actually enjoyable and not boring!! Oh my goodness, thank you for the encouragement bestie! It was WAYYYY more challenging than I anticipated!! I LOVED the Midnight Library, it was a bit repetitive but I do feel that is a part of life as an adult! The monotony can be underwhelming at times and we have to learn how to find the joy, in that way I really liked how life was portrayed in the book! If you do read it, keep me posted!!! I don't know if I could ever stay up for a readathon for 24 hours. I'm a morning person but as soon as it hits past 10pm, I'm ready for bed. I think if I were to do this challenge, I'd do what some other people have done where they use a timer and then pause it so they can sleep. I think doing the challenge in ways that are enjoyable for you and works in your schedule will still be enjoyable for people to watch ❤

I tried a 24h reading challenge recently and it was TERRIBLE hahahahaha I was completely distracted by Olympics and couldn't focus on the book I was reading, however I wanna try it again eventually!
