The more Home Free performances I watch, the more I realize that the group has true camaraderie and unity. Because they always give the lead to the voice that suits the song best. And that lets them create incredible renditions just like this.
One thing I love about Home Free is they can take almost ANY song, twist it around to make it theirs, and still pay the respects to the original singer. My suggestions? Brothers in Arms Folsom Prison Blues Ring of Fire Ain't Going Down til the Sun Comes Up (Facebook special) Mayday Thinking About You/Let's Get It On
Welcome to the fabulous world of Home Free, the best a cappella group out there. These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance is holding down the bass in the back, Tim adding some deeper bass notes & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was one of the judges on the "Sing Off" that Home Free won in 2013 & he was a big fan of these guys from the start. I'm sure he loved their version of this song. Hope you check out more of their music.
This is my first time seeing you react to Home free, sorry I missed your reaction to Man Of Constant Sorrow. I will have to go back and watch that one too. I am subscribing and looking forward to more Home Free reactions, They are masters of all musical genres. They won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. All of them can sing lead and they choose depending on whose voice best fits the song. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way.
They killed this! More Home Free please. They are so extremely talented. Check out When a Man Loves a Woman. It was originally done by Percy Sledge, then Michael Bolton. Love your reaction! ♥
Wait til you hear Austin and Rob who sang lead here sing opera together, Nessum Dorma. You can find it on Austin Brown's individual channel. They literally can crush any genre they choose to sing.
You’re in for an amazing journey! Home Free tends to lean towards more fun and lighter interpretations but they are unafraid to tackle more serious topics. As others have said they can perform pretty much any genre. A true rabbit hole of spectacular performances! The quote is “ Home Free doesn’t do covers, they do upgrades!” Enjoy!
Great reaction Alison. HF recently just did a cover of Darryl Braithwaite's The Horses featuring two popular Aussie singers, Travis Collins and Amy Sheppard that you may be familiar with. Love that song and hope you react to it.
Home Free is so good. They are known for their tight harmonies. Rob (glasses) killed this. Loved Tim’s (bass) low notes. When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they did justice to the song. You might like Helplessly Hoping, One Man Band, Die a Happy Man. They all sing individually in those. Good reaction!😄
When Home Free does a cover, they pay homage to the original, but always make it their own. Their covers are always upgrades❣️🎼🥰🎶❤ As far as I'm concerned all of the Home Free guys "emote" through their music/videos better than just about anyone else out there--and in this one Rob showcases his gospel/R&B genius in a way that seems to surprise everyone ❣️❣️❣️ #HomeFree
No worries...love ❤ your reaction...enjoying your channel...one of my new favorites...new subscriber...Blessing 🙏🙏...keep being you beautiful...no need to apologize...can't wait to see your other reactions 😘😘
New subscriber for more Home Free. They just released a new album (As Seen on TV) where they have done official recordings of the song they did on Season 4 of The SIng-Off ten years ago. Dual reactions to those performances can really show you how much they have grown in that time.
Home Free does a song with two popular Aussie singers that I think you and that fly (hahaha) will enjoy. It's called WILD HORSES and it was videoed in Australia!
Although you didn't react to Man of Constant Sorrow here, I did see a couple comments that were a bit off on details. So here's my two cents worth about Man of Constant Sorrow. Though published in 1913 by Dick Burnett, who did not compose it, this song is an old American Folk Song. It was old when published - he just put it to paper - which then enabled him to earn from its use. Prior to that it was learned "by ear" having originated in & around Kentucky, Tennessee and thereabouts.
Best a cappella group out there. They have a very deep and varied catalog. I suggest their recent release Stand By Me. Or Helplessly Hoping. Or their amazing cover of Listen to the Music. Wherever you go next, you will not be disappointed.
New sub for your serios appreciation of #homefree. I'd be interested to know what color Chance's voice is. Check out HF's "I Can't Outrun You" (Trace Adkins). Chance leads throughout and also directed the video. It'll give you an even deeper appreciation of what the group does.
I ended my singing career as a bass-baritone with a one and a half octave range. Rob has a beautiful voice, Austin has the grit to support more mainstream songs, my tenor period was more Rob than Austin. Adam and Adam just outrange(my new word) me baritone wise, and the beatboxing is fabulous. Tim I ha...ha...no, not hate, I'm super mega jealous. And I'm straight. I just love good, sorry great, musical talent.
Glad to see you have found the great Home Free. There are a large number of other songs by them . Do your self a favior and look at some of them.. Also you might want to check out Tim Foust ‐ Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow / Stay. Tim Is the base singer in Home free.
You've just met them 😁 so happy. But don't watch Mayday until you know them. They are Austin Brown tenor 1 (two tone jacket) Rob Lundquist tenor 2 (beard) Adam Chance Baritone Tim Foust Bass Adam Rupp Beatboxer
Great reaction Alison. I see a lot of the Home Fries (Home Free fans) have given some great suggestions already so I won't bother. Keep on with HF and I'll be here!
Welcome to one of the neatest rabbit holes ever. So many to recommend Best arrangement-Do you hear what i hear (xmas), best solo-When A man loves a woman, Most Fun-Butts remix, Best harmonies-Brothers in Arms, My faves; One Man Band, Bless this broken road, Mayday (do later). These guys never miss. You like musicals? check out Austin solo on Bring HIm Home.
Tim is an oktavist, which is below basso profundo (normal lowest bass). However, he does have a 5+ octave range with a falsetto that is close to Frankie Valli of the Four Seasons.
Great reaction from a beautiful lady ! Subbed for more Home Free reactions ! You should really, really check out more Home Free ! I suggest 'Helplessly Hoping', 'When a Man Loves a Woman', 'Unchained Melody', 'Brothers in Arms', 'The Butts Remix' and many more! You basically can't go wrong with these guys.
Their videos mostly fall into one of two categories... Pre 2015 with co-founder *Chris* Rupp singing the baritone role... But once he left to follow his own path (it's good too) the second category is... Post 2015 with Adam Chance [aka *Chance* ] doing the baritone support. The other members have all been in the group since they won the singoff competition in 2004 (i think that's the right date, it was the one after Pentatonix won) They are: *Austin* Brown, lead & high tenor, *Rob* Lundquist, lead & support tenor, *Tim* Foust, Basso-Profundo and group spokesman, & Last but far from least: *Adam* Rupp, co-founder, support tenor & Primary Beatboxer in any group he's part of. (By that i mean that for example, if HF & Voiceplay do a collaboration, Layne would be the #2 beatboxer) He's the reason they call Chance, Chance.
Unchained melody is a favourite of mine! I’ve been lucky enough to know them! But I might need to have a look at more of their stuff and delve deeper than just those few hits!
I suggest their version of "Helplessly Hoping" by Crosby, Stills and Nash. You should listen to the original first if you're not familiar with it. Your reaction was wonderful. Another great one would be "Mayday". (Originally by Cam who you may know of.)
New subscriber! :) I just binged your Morisette reactions -- she is SO amazing and I get so excited for people who find her. I REALLY hope you check out more BTS. I'm 45 and have always been into rock and alternative, but I love all kinds of music and these guys shocked the crap out of me. Since you've enjoyed some of the more emotional songs, this song might appeal to you? It's called the Truth Untold. It is just their vocal line (none of the BTS rappers are on this track). It's an older song so they were in their early twenties, but it's one of their classics. This is an English lyric video because it's in Korean. It's also fan-made, so please excuse the photos they chose for it, lol. The video is handily color-coded so you can match voice to person. :) czcams.com/video/tK4oNOE4V6s/video.html
You know, I just really really love how much you smile when you listen to Home Free... That's what they are all about!
The more Home Free performances I watch, the more I realize that the group has true camaraderie and unity. Because they always give the lead to the voice that suits the song best. And that lets them create incredible renditions just like this.
You arre so cute.. Beautiful, your eyes, your smile, funny, amazing.
For such a big boy Rob sure can run!🫶🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻

Absolutely agree, "I Can't Outrun You" is a must as Chance isn't often featured. He is stunning in this.

Just subscribed with hopes for more Home Free reactions. Home Free is the absolute best!
That wasn't a fly, that was Rob's runs. 🤣
Love #HomeFree
Home Free released their latest just last Friday, and it's an amazing cover of Hunter Hayes song, "I want crazy" and it's CRAZY GOOD !
Suggestion... To hear Tim's bass and Chance's smooth baritone, react to "Brothers In Arms." The harmonies in that piece are to die for.
Great reaction Alison. HF recently just did a cover of Darryl Braithwaite's The Horses featuring two popular Aussie singers, Travis Collins and Amy Sheppard that you may be familiar with. Love that song and hope you react to it.

They won The Sing-off in 2013
I saw your head moving, following the fly. I thought you were doing it to the runs by Rob. It looked cool.
For a walk thru Music history, try "Butts Remix". Home Free.
Waiting on you to listen to home free sing
When a man loves a woman
Apparently the reaction to" Man of Constant Sorrow "was blocked as I wasn't able to pull it up. (It shows as unavailable).
Subbed for more #homefree. Great reaction ❤
Tim is the bass, with a 5 octave range. Rob, the tenor with the beard. Austin the other tenor. Adam Chancethe baritone, and Adam Rupp the beat boxer.
Ypu should check out The Righteous Brothere. Unchained Melody, and Youve lost that loving feeling
Unchained melody is a favourite of mine! I’ve been lucky enough to know them!
But I might need to have a look at more of their stuff and delve deeper than just those few hits!
❤🤠 HF. Great reaction
Subbed for #HomeFree ❤❤❤
Tim Foust is the base - Check out his cover of Will you still love me tomorrow mashed up with Stay.
I suggest their version of "Helplessly Hoping" by Crosby, Stills and Nash. You should listen to the original first if you're not familiar with it. Your reaction was wonderful. Another great one would be "Mayday". (Originally by Cam who you may know of.)
Subbed for more HF.
I can't find your reaction to Man of constant sorrow by Home Free, can you provide a link? Please. 🙂
You don't have to block the screen for Home Free videos.

Sorry you are not old enough to have heard the original Man of Constant Sorrow 😂😊 it was written in 1918 and recorded in 1029😊
Actually it was first written down in 1913, but is quite a bit older than that...
For a real panty dropper I suggest Home Free’s cover of “When a Man Loves a Woman”
Fuck it ill give ye a sub ye,your aussie white and fine, there ye go haha, all the best
I love your reactions but 3 pauses in less than a minute might be a bit much.
Being you talked about your tats. You could check out " Ren HI Ren" It is different but I'm sure you will like it. I'm from Missouri, USA..
React Arijit Singh live performance ❤
