Had VH skates (now true for 4 1/2 years) and recently moved to the newer True Skates. My main complaint is how much heavier they are from the VH Line. The rubber in the front and sides provides great protection but at a cost. The 2019 skates indicate that they are 15% lighter so I would go with these skates.

Do they usually only do the scan now and no foot measurements? I am getting scanned Sunday and can't wait to get this process started. Great insightful vid.

Correct, they do two different poses per foot. No measurements that I saw when I was there.

there is a basic size measurement. Just like any other foot measurer you’d see at something like a shoe store. This just ensures that the skate is the correct size and isn’t made out of proportion. basically a safety.

Out of curiosity, what size do you wear in Bauer and what size did you get with your True skates?

9.5 in Bauer and true skates aren’t really sized like that. They take your skate size but just as a starting point when you get scanned.

I'm sure they are the most comfortable skates out there. But man what they did well with the fit and comfort they definitely lacked in aesthetics. Them skates look like they're straight rentals at your local ice rink. LOL.
