Airstream Goes Wrong Way Down One Way Street!

We take the Airstream the wrong way down a one way street. We should try reading the signs. This happened coming out of the "Big rig friendly" rv park in West Columbia South Carolina. Don't make our mistake!

Been there, done that. Our garmin sent us on a wild goose chase looking for our RV park. Ended up on a dead end road which became someones driveway!

Never trust your GPS. It's only a guide. When in doubt, use Google maps with terrain view and look on the map where the GPS is taking you. It's always a good idea to get a true visual, versus going in blind from the GPS. Be safe.

Steve, please don't be too hard on yourselves. Ok, you missed the left arrow/red circle below the stop sign.
The stop sign was twisted ditch wise,
angling away from a flat viewing. When the vehicle is at full stop, sign already behind the truck, leaving nothing
but local knowledge to rely upon. Both
lanes could have yellow painted direction arrows. There are no options for overhead signage or existing median. However, there is ample space in far roadside grassy areas
for a "Do not Enter." The sparce signage led to an ambiguous moment
with no final warning. We are grateful you and Julie had a safe do-over fix,
without calamity. It is a humble man who is willing to share his missteps
for all to see. Unlikely, you are the first
to make that wrong way turn. Perhaps
you could be the last. For your consideration, would you be willing to
send this video to the secretary of state for their review. I don't want you
to get a ticket, but perhaps future lives
could be saved. Well, I did ask for the Lord's protection for your journey, that
went as well as it could have. God, speed to you both. 🙏
