If you think this design is silly, you should see the 1E/2E artwork where he has a much bigger Human torso and the Wolf heads grow out of his shoulders, it looks far more weird. :) I think they have done the best they can with the design, adding the weird scaly underbelly to the Wolf heads and the Spider abdomen at least somehow merges these two very different pieces of his anatomy. And the torso with the armor and 4 arms is pretty cool! I especially like the absolutely unnecessary collars and chains on the Wolf heads, it looks like Miska is taking himself for walkies. :D And btw, the Queen of Chaos? She looks totally like Ursula from The Little Mermaid. :D
Gotta be honest: this time I disagree. I think that Miska's design is not bad, but the execution is flawed. Having him in a pose so neutral with such light colors don't do anything for him. Kinda how many horror monsters lose any kind of threatening appearence if you see them as a blender model. I think that having him maybe rearing up, with the tail swirling around, claws and maws projected forward (and maybe the spear as a separate part to avoid it being so horribly bent) would do wonders. Obviously a better paintjob, maybe with a object source lighting effect coming from in front and below it (where a PC would stand), would amp up the terror, but we know wizkids never goes for such things...
It doesn’t look good but I feel like that’s what he sorta should look like he’s a demon and and old one he’s not designed by the oberinth to frighten/slaughter mortals but to be the form that allowed him to survive the harshest existence possible that our puny mortal minds couldn’t comprehend but not in a necessarily lovecraftian way his form isn’t supposed to make sense now having typed all that I don’t particularly like it either but it’s not to bad of a design when you consider what he is
Hit and miss on this one, the idea is wonderful, but the physical execution needs work, the colour pallet is way too bright for what I think the feel of this mini should be and I’m not fond that the haft of his trident is bent going down the back of the mini. Overall if I had the spare cash I’d consider adding to my collection but something else is more likely to catch my fancy
I dig the chaotic look of the character… but this mini is just bad. Bad model, bad paint, all around bad presentation and very rare demon lord L for Wizkids ☹️

I actually adore this design for Miska. Being a demon lord they should look a bit chaotic, and I love the freaky arrow shaped wolf heads

The original design of Miska in the rod of seven parts adventure is def superior to that hot mess
