Reggie Miller scores 34 points in the series clinching win against the New York Knicks in game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Apparently this game was ripped from a DVD set or something so that's why this video looks more glorious than any other recorded footage.

He's a beauty to watch. No one moved better without the ball, he utilized his screens so well that he'd just lead his defender right into them by taking a specific route, and he's the best clutch player I've ever seen. He's my favorite ever.

Game represented the last of the old guard from the rugged 90's Eastern Conference. MJ was gone, and the Knicks and Pacers would go in to a period of mediocrity, which left 2001 WIDE OPEN. As evidence by the Sixers, Bucks, Hornets, and Raptors, teams that had combined to reach all of five second round appearances combined since 1988 (Sixers three, Hornets two), as the four teams in the Eastern semis.

@@clintonallen6024 What happened was that Ewing was not healthy again and on a steep decline. Charlie Ward was having his best playoff run of his career. Allan Houston was playing through a severely sprained ankle he suffered in game 6 of the Miami series but never had a chance to heal it because the Miami series went 7 games and then they had to fly to Indiana right away. Sprewell was playing with a broken bone in his foot which happened when Rick Carlisle tripped him in game 2. Chris Child's was battling the flu from games 4 - 6 and wasn't 100%. Finally, Marcus Camby was battling an injured leg from game 2 all the way to the end of the series but continued to play. He was st 50%. I thought Sprewell did a good job on Reggie but the Knicks were just injured. Bad luck again.

Gamers Club I hear you and you are right they were banged up and you could see they ran out of steam in that game. However, you gotta double team a player when he is hot like Miller was. It’s sad to see that they traded Ewing in the offseason, they would have been better off keeping him and making him retire two years later. If they did win that series, I don’t know if they would have had it in them to beat that Laker team.

If only the Pacers could've faced the Blazers that year, Miller would've gotten his one and only ring. The Blazers were known to choke up leads late in the game, and having to face such a clutch shooter like Miller with the game on the line, it would've been lights out. But the Pacers saw the Lakers and I knew they weren't good enough to stop Shaq and Kobe in their prime.

I'm Reggie Miller fan but I do have a lot of respect for Houston and think he is one of the most underrated shooters of all time. I'm not trying to diss Starks because Starks was good and fiesty but Houston was a huge upgrade. Not to mention I actually did think Sprewell was the perfect compliment because he was a slasher who could shoot. If they would have had Houston and Sprewell in Ewing's prime they would have won a championship.

In terms of pure shooting I've never seen a team like the late 90's and early 00's Bucks with Sam Cassel, Ray Allen and Glenn Robinson. Those guys hardly missed an outside shot.
