- City walks visits Hyeres, France. On this spring morning we descend from the fortress on the hill above Hyeres that overlooks the Mediterranean sea down through the old heart of the city. It was already a warm day at 9 am but the sunshine was welcome. As always, let me know in the comments if you'd like me to change anything up. I'm still experimenting a bit with gear and style. I used a gimbal and a gopro session on this walk.
Bonne marche -Henri
Thank you. That brings back soooo many good memories.
Glad you enjoyed it. You've been to Hyeres then? -H
Used to go there as a kid on holidays 40 years ago. We lived in one of the old houses right near the market. So I have walked those very alleys and paths to the top many times. Thanks again.@@CityWalks
What a beautiful walk, Henry. Thanks for this. : )
Thanks. It’s a charming little city on the sea. I’d never heard of it until we went to visit some online friends. @worldtowning Great travel-family. -Henry

@@CityWalks Welcome!
Thanks for those France walks, I am from the north and never been here or Marseille, so it is nice to see.
Glad you enjoyed them. We are from Montana (not as far north as you ) and it was pretty warm for us but also pretty wonderful. -Henry
This is beautiful! Thanks!
Thanks so much. It's a fun little town even if it doesn't have the traditional tourist attractions. The old town is charming and the islands off the coast are just gorgeous.

Thanks Brett, -H

Thanks -H
I was waiting to see the ocean
The Mediterranean sea is actually a bit further out from the old town. Thanks for watching. -H
Makes me want to brush up on my high school French:-)
That's one of the fun parts of traveling for me too, learning and trying to speak some of the local language. Thanks.-H
lots of people having their morning coffee?? haha!! the town is almost empty... it seems to be they are still sleeping:)
Yes, the probably were. -H
Nice, I must admit that you are not walking but doing semi running. great. suggest stand in some place where people are gathering in market area, and by that time you get some rest..thanks.
Thanks for the tips! -H
that huge square in summer must be like hell.. one can become like fried egg there...
Yeah, I think it's pretty hot but get's shade.
one tip try to walk as slow as possible , its difficult , but it will improve eve more
Great. Thanks so much! I've got a gimbal but I'm tall and so there's extra up and down motion. I'll keep working on it!
i have a pistol grip , works great
@@CityWalks don t worry the speed is great, if slower we fall asleep... but a tissue for your nose would be great:)
the average population is old....
Perhaps, or maybe that's just who was out at that time. It's a tourist town. -Henry
