I'm American. And it's about time. I've always enjoyed Canadian based television dramas
When CBS started airing CTV's police drama Flashpoint here in the US, it took a while for me to realize the series was set in Toronto, as opposed to the city substituting for an American counterpart. I felt this was a refreshing change from some previous Canadian-produced cop dramas (e.g., Night Heat and Forever Knights), that were vague about their Toronto setting. Congrats to Toronto for getting their own Law and Order franchise, hope it eventually makes its way south of the (Canada-US) border in some form!
And rookie Blue!
Congrats on having crime Toronto 😂
I'm so happy for Toronto to get this. Being from the US, I appreciate the franchise, especially when BBC America had Law&Order UK, which I was a devoted fan throughout the series run. I'm looking forward to when we can see it in the US.
Some of the cases in the early seasons of Law and Order were based on some Canadian cases, because Americans were not aware of those crime stories, and yes of course Jill Hennessy was iconic they should bring her back for this ❤
My new favourite show! Let's continue to support our Canadian shows and actors💚
He mentioned Jill Hennessy.
It would be fantastic to see her in this franchise
lol itll be the episode where the cops just watch some dudes car get taken off to saudi arabia in a shipping container
Well, there are two mayors that have been less than stellar.😂. Than of course one Prime Minister and his wife who have their own unique and comical ways of delivering law and order.
Just finished watching episode 7. The character of Roman Rush looks so familiar but he doesn’t appear in the credits at the end and he isn’t in the IMDb…any insight?
I have say. I'm really enjoying the series. With each episode it gets better. Just finished watching episode 7 and beginning to feel anxious that it's drawing fast to the last episode of the season...And I do hope there will be a season two, three, four etc. We have a lot of crime stories here in Toronto to keep the series going for quite a few years. There is another Canadian Crime series titled Crime Beat that they can also draw stories from as well.
I'm Super excited to seeing it all. I can hear how excited Eli is, but turn down is mic.
Im not a fan of law and order, or cop shows in general but i am happy to see shows acknowledge that they are filming in our city. We need more canadian shows acknowledge canada. take schitts creek it always was pretending to be "middle somewhere" america? Maybe. Canada? Could be. Mexico? Probably not but who knows!
Toronto is perfect place for Great Theft Auto
Love the show, on Ep 3
I actually enjoy it
Excited to see a show I don't have access to! But hey....a highschool classmate is in it.
Law and Order: Orillia.
I wanna learn about ontario/Canadian criminal judicial system. Also OPP and regional police procedures and system. I hope they do their research. Obvs it's tv so won't be 100% accurate but will be welcome change from NY backdrop
Oh I would love to see that I am a Canadian living in Germany and never see any Canadian shows.
People will be weirded out by the court scenes where you call the judge 'Your Worship'.
Not average people, almost only lawyers and special constables.
What about “Miranda Rights” I don't know what a Canadian cop says when your arrested.
PIPE THIS DOWN INTO THE US PLEASE
Surely the sensational crimes will make it to the screen and we won’t wish to be reminded of them!
Sadly no way to watch it in the U.S that I can find
How come I wasn’t invited
I wonder why they picked Toronto; I think there are more opportunities for different types of crimes in Vancouver.
Go Toronto 😎💪💯🇨🇦
Will they be using Canadian law?
Obviously.
No. They will be using Australian law.
No, they will be using Newton's Laws
Canadian law is a joke though 😂
Congrats on your wealth of crime 😂 so much you can make a show out of it Lol
Special guest star doug Ford
You spelled Trudeau wrong
They already hinted at Rob Ford storylines
Criminal intent? Wrong city. Corruption just seeps from Ottawa. You can start with our Prime Minister.
Omg can we get one comment section without yall bringing HIM up, it's getting more tired than canadians are with Trudeau.
🙄
Same, man! These paid trolls are rampant these days. They put out a piece about cookies and they'll make it all about Trudeau for some reason. Trudeau hates cookies! AHHHH! @@Alex-qo7ke
Criminal intent they should cover all the politicians previous and current from all parties why stop at the current government. The Trudeau bashing is stale as the next person wanting to be the new Prime Minister
@@aton87 FIPA would be a great place to start.
A Canadian version of a mediocre US tv show.
