  • Hello again! here's another watercolour bookmark, but this time with voiceover.. let me just say... dang, it's still awkward and cringe worthy. But i gta start somewhere hehe... So I hope you guys enjoy this and learn something new :)
    And btw.. I kept saying moss green in the vid, but it OBVIOUSLY said sap green on the watercolour tube.. moss green is the wilton food dye that I use to make flower buttercream cakes (and yes I bake too) so I tend to get the names of the colours mixed up.. sorrryyy xD

    Gosh Nia, I'm learning so much from you and your channel. I'm becoming less confused and more brave. I'm so grateful for you and your channel. You're the best art teacher I've had so far here on CZcams and I've watched a lot of artists. I've also taught in the past in other areas and find the most difficult thing to do as one becomes accomplished is to return to and teach the basics. You do that with ease my dear. Since I haven't painted for several years, I really needed to go back to basics. Once again, thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge. Blessings to you.

      That's so awesome! I'm so glad the videos are helping! It's also useful for me to paint these basic ones paintings to remind myself of the fundamentals :p Wish you the best in getting back with painting ^__^

    Nia, your tutorial is one of the highest I've ever seen.
    As a beginner, I've been looking for a channel,
    that has process of application explained.
    your awesome thank you Nia.

    you deconstruct each flower making it easy for me to recreate them on my own. I too binge-watch and learn from each video. I've tried painting along on several. I'm learning to use more water than pigment to get the ethereal look of your style. Yumminess all 'round!

    • @Nianiani
      @Nianiani  Před 6 lety

      I think if you learn something new while doing something, even thought it doesn't look like a masterpiece is better, thn creating something that looks good, but you don't learn something new out of it. It's just part of the learning process, I'm sure if you keep painting, you will be able to control the medium more2. And to tell you the truth, I'm also never satisfied with my paintings, but that's the feeling that makes me want to know more about art :D You can do it, Bushra!

    Hi! Love this tutorial! I was searching for he reeves liquid watercolor but I can't find them in my country, seems to be sold out everywhere possible, do you perhaps have recommendations for other brands that are good and easy to work with for beginners like me? Thank you very much!

      You can use any watercolour as a beginner. You can maybe try pentel It's cheap and the colours are very rich :)
