William speaks French & Kate cheers up Prince George : THE ROYALS ARRIVE IN CANADA

- Prince William, Catherine Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George, Princess Charlotte arrive for the 2016 Royal Tour of Canada.
Walking down the plane steps, Kate was pictured wearing a knee-length Jenny Packham blue dress with a matching Lock & Co hat and the Queen’s Maple Leaf brooch.
At one point, Prince George looked on the edge of tears as the 3-year-old, wearing a blue jumper, a checkered shirt and shorts. The Prince had an upset look on his face after his 9-hour flight on a Canadian Air Force jet.
Mum Kate came to the rescue by bending down with his sister Charlotte in her hands and cheered him up. Princess Charlotte, on the other hand, looked in great spirits with a smile on her face in a flowered dress.
Prince George held on to his Dad’s hand as he walked down the plane steps. William wore a navy suit, matching it with a red and blue striped tie. Princess Charlotte, wearing a flowered dress with a blue clip in her hair, was in her mother’s arms as the Royals emerged from the Airbus 310 at the military base of Victoria airport for their week-long trip to Canada.
The Royal couple was greeted first on the Tarmac by Governor General David Johnston and his wife. Followed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau. Also on the Tarmac was British Columbia's Lt.-Gov. Judith Guichon. B.C. Premier Christy Clark and her son, Hamish were also on the tarmac.
Prince William addressed the nation of Canada in a speech at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. He praised their country and set out his plans in Canada for his family. He then had a smile on his face and joked about a previous visit: “I have very happy memories as a shy teenager. A few of you remember it too well, I think.”. He later went on to speak in French, impressing the crowd and thanking the people of Canada for their support over the years.

Actually it's not weird at all it is not common for most of the parents but the gesture helps us the adult to level ourselves with the kids not only this will boost their confidence but also makes us better adults

Kate is merely over emphasizing a courtsy as she is bowing to pick up her children . For they are HRH prince and princesses she is courtseying to for they are higher than she is. He was actually not "speaking", but reading with difficulty. Prince Charles, however, is very fluent in German, for instance.
He's terrible in French, very poor pronunciations while also reading from a paper. Thought he'd have had a better education.

I just love the old school little girls dresses I wore them ..pastel pink and green and blue. Charlotte looks so sweet in her dress and mary janes Perfect. Diana would be so tickled with all of it.
I love the way they are such a loving family. Both parents are obviously very hands-on with the kids, and they are constantly talking to then, fussing George's hair, holding their hands or carrying them, just as any proud parents would. Lovely people, lovely family, no wonder they are so warmly received.

I really admire the couple ! They are an epitome of a perfect couple! I could see their effort to safeguard not for themselves but for the sake of their people. I pray that their children grow or mature like their parents. When I was younger, I used to dream of studying in London to see for myself the very life of the people. Now , it’s just s dream..... Yes , I am very much excited to see the Couple , William and Kate with their three children! I find them very humble , approachable and people oriented. It was very unfortunate that when I was granted Schengen Visa, Great Britain was not included. Actually I have been a member of the British Council Library for several decades .When it was transferred to Taipan Bldg , I was one of the lucky members invited during the opening. I am an avid fan of the Royal family. One of my wildest dreams is to attend short term courses in English Literature. But at my age, I don’t think it is feasible. I am content to see the Royal family via CZcams .Hail the Queen and her monarchy........! By the way, do you think they have time to read my message. Does you tube send them to the Royal family. It’s something that will inspire them.
