Hello, ideally there should not be such case and when you have Ikea, i hope you are you trying to fix it on plain surface, like tiles, mirror, marble, try pushing it with some force, you will observe suction hook got inside with vaccum.

@@wOwOoh I'm using it on clean dry bathroom tiles, and they will not stay on longer than few minutes. Tiles are smooth. I just don't understand why is not working.

Hello, i believe it would not required so much hard push (but also not very soft), in case i would have pushed with less power then also it would have fixed. Ideally for good suction power this type of hooks would require some power with the push.
