I have dropped the fuel cap several times ( the key set costs almost 14000 on the first models so don't drop it😂😂😂 ) I got spilled petrol all over my crotch I am using michelin pilot sport ( considering pirelli diablo rosso ii as my next set) My rear view mirror always hits the wall when i park (but gives good view) Trip meter i can live without that ( i hand first model unicorn😑 )
Valid points Strell..being a honda Owner from 2007...all I can say is these are long lasting refined bikes...but Honda does not care for its Customer base...they know their bikes sell...I wish Bajaj would focus more on reliability and refinement.Then I would atleast have a choice...i mean raw power is not the only thing you know..its the Joy of that refined smooth Ride which only few bikes can provide.

Nice video bro..I have this same prblm with the mirrors..especially in tight parking areas..next is with the fuel splash..the pump guy always looks at me helplessly when the 1st splash hits..nothing much we both could do everytime..😨 Another thing I hate is the side stand which slants too much when the surface is irregular. they could add a mileage indicator..but again..thats not to be expected on a performance bike..😊 unfortunately being born in India i am concerned and I wished it had one..😁

One additional point to the points mentioned by you in the video is the oil Honda provides(Idemitshu) is not at all good. I have recently switched to Motul 7100 10w 40. Now my bike is running butter smooth. All the sluggish performance is now gone which was due to the previous oil..

A great brand with an iconic motorcycle and yet they dont change anything except for the color😑😑😑...Good thing the color scheme looks good this time even for the first time they made changes to the headlight...But surely the console should had gear indicator dual trip meters...The way you explain the fuel cap part🤣🤣🤣..Same experience..Always bit nasty to fill up the tank...Have to hold the pump at the end so that it wont spill off🤣🤣..Keep up the good work buddy...Waiting for the review on the headlight and setup video👍👍👍

Sachin Kuntal...Its only in thr case of full tank...But never fill it to the top cz when you bike is on side stand the excess will drip off from the drain..So keep that in mind too..

I had faced wobble in 125kmph will it rectified my mechanics or it is a problem with tyres???. Next thing is shim valves loosening in between 2nd and 3rd service is it true or it is a myth bro.shim valves will change sound it seems😥. I always have to say the petrol pump guy to fill petrol slowly orelse it's going to spray outside the tank due to its pressure ..and also the same nasty feel I get whenever I hold the tank cap while filling

To an extend it solves the problem. I believe it's mainly because of incorrect body posture while riding. Say putting body weight towards hand causes this. Try to ride the bike without putting effort to your hands, instead keep your arm parallel to ground and use your thighs to grip the tank.
Strell thanks for the prompt response I tried it the position you told me but pain remains. I also have a unicorn. I have toured more than a hundred kms on it and was still comfortable i think because of the seat, handlebar position etc. Will there be any risk of accident by installing a handlebar risers on the cbr250r. I really love the motorcycle.

Considering the post dated way back in 06/2018, i like the points you have identified correctly, but at the same time, i don't see any changes Honda has made on these issue and will be doing it, as they have their own policies each and every bikes/models. i don't believe customer feedback works, when it comes to our country, untill and unless it causes serious issues to the riders. Hey strell, i watched your complete review on the 2018 honda CBR and also this one.. I am planning for a change of my ride, i ride a 2014 RE TB350 and its still doing its job quite well, only problem i have with it are the vibrations and inability to maintain higher cruising speeds. Hence planning an upgrade without shelling too much (like i dnt want to shell out the money for duke390, although i love it!) Having CBR250R in my mind, over the dominar 400.. what do you say, is the CBR a worthy upgrade in 2018 considering the fact that i am gona rely on this bike for next 2-3 years atleast( i mean wnt this bike feel outdated then?) Unbelievable... my dad's Honda scooter of the 90s had this nagging mirror-nut issue, my wife's current Activa 3G has it too... and it's not fixed in the CBR250 2018 either. Honda India really doesn't understand mirrors do they !!! 😜

No problem in installing handle bar raisers. But have a word with people who has installed to know, if they feel any kind of extra vibrations

Hey strell, i watched your complete review on the 2018 honda CBR and also this one..
I am planning for a change of my ride, i ride a 2014 RE TB350 and its still doing its job quite well, only problem i have with it are the vibrations and inability to maintain higher cruising speeds.
Hence planning an upgrade without shelling too much (like i dnt want to shell out the money for duke390, although i love it!)
Having CBR250R in my mind, over the dominar 400.. what do you say, is the CBR a worthy upgrade in 2018 considering the fact that i am gona rely on this bike for next 2-3 years atleast( i mean wnt this bike feel outdated then?)

Also considering Apache rr310.. whch one do u suggest Strell, CBR or Apache? I do monthly trips of around 600kms up & down regularly..

Unbelievable... my dad's Honda scooter of the 90s had this nagging mirror-nut issue, my wife's current Activa 3G has it too... and it's not fixed in the CBR250 2018 either.
Honda India really doesn't understand mirrors do they !!! 😜
@strell i am thinking to buy 2018 cbr.Since you have driven both old and new model of cbr ,could you let me know if the height of front and the handle is increased.I am almost 6 ft and looking for a tourer bike so high handle and comfortable position is a major concern for me.
No change in riding posture with earlier version. It's just cosmetic and emission changes.

Cbr 250 bike is high performance bike in comparison to 250 segment but one thing I dislike is about back tail light it's so old model sme to previous ver. Of cbr 250 n side indicator also ,but I like cbr 250 is one of my favorite bike in 250 segment..
which bike should i go for apache 200 or the CBR 250 (for track use)...?
RTR 200 is a good track bike than CBR. CBR need more mods to prepare it for track.

Yes yes yes.. i agree to all the points. I own a tricoloured one. The mirrors are so bad. even R15v2 mirrors are foldable and adjustable.. honda doesn't care about all these. Great video

Bro i own a cbr250r 2014 model,which recently started having glitch while running or like taking three four self attempts to start....i even got my battery replaced with a new one but the problem still iritates me a lot....plz and plz give me a solution....even the service didnt work out for that problem.....plzzz
