- Hey guys, Billet plates are the biggest step forward in rotary engine development in recent times. I get hit up with so many questions, each week about the Billet Boss plates I use, so I thought it would be easier just to make a short video so you can hear my take on it all and I can show you some of the reasons why I choose to use them in my race engines. I hope you guys find it informative and can take something out of it.

Very technical and detailed vid. Thank you. I could relate and more importantly fallow "10k rps is a $hit tone of heat "😆
Brilliant stuff Jon! I watched your video on the HPA channel- so do you would you recommend the semi-pp porting for a 20B turbo FD track/time attack car running on either ethanol or methanol with Nitrous? Cheers
Pretty much F'd before ya start...! Yep... 🤣🤣🤣
👍👍👍💪💪
I just want factory blueprints of rotor and housing with numbers. Cant find anywhere
They are very nice...and the plates cost..???
Too much. You can build a LS V8 for like 1/10th as much and make more power. I have a twin-turbo 12A, the advantage is small physical size that works for my jet boat.
Is drag racing still a thing in OZ? It is pretty much dead in the usa for years now.
Who makes the best plate in your opinion?
Pac performance !!!
Wouldn't Billet Boss be the one if that's what he's using and making an entire video about?
The dementions of rotor and housings you forgot lol.
Few Rotary owners feel they can not buy Rotary parts any more because it become a rip off
13B kit is about $16,000 USD. So don't bother unless you have a STUPID amount of money to throw away or you are sponsored somehow and won't pay for it.
A complete set of 3x plates to suit a 13B engine prices start at around $9000 Australian Dollars (approx $6800 us)
@@jonblanchracing1487 Gotcha! I couldn't find the plates for sale on their website. I went to BilletRotaryStore and figured since they used the same 7000 series aluminum and they looked the same that they were similar prices.
Still though...$7k isn't any more obtainable and it doesnt include the rotars or the housings at that price. I was hoping they would be attainable for normal people but its only a dream now. Thank you for posting the price though!
@@CaramelColored dont forget the transmission. Clutchless is 10k .racing is not cheap!!
