I found an All-Clad D5 3 quart saute pan at Home Goods for $100.00. It usually sells for around $250.00. You almost have to treat the TJX stores as thrift stores, but you'll find some really good deals there if you stop by there once in a while and know what you're looking at.
My best find at a Home Goods was a Copper Core 5qt sauté for like $35 I think. Someone must not have known what they were pricing. Also found a 12” copper core fry pan for like $50. I don’t find those types of deals anymore, & it’s been a while since I’ve seen any of the higher end all-clad. I think they know how to properly price the cookware now, & that they don’t buy as much. But I have almost 60 pieces of All-Clad now, & I never paid full retail for any of it.
I really like this video! Another good place is Ross. Also, don’t forget about good old garage sales. I recently snagged 2 All-Clad D3 pans (10 and 12 inch) in great shape for less than 5 bucks! Some folks don’t know what they have.
Haven’t been to a garage sale in a while but if you get lucky you can find some gems
Tramontina has run some really cheap deals on their tri-ply clad stuff in the past. I managed to snag 4 pieces for only $100 a couple years ago. Just have to watch for the best sales. This was what I got in October 2022:
12 Inch Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Fry Pan - Boston Handle
1 un. $ 17.95
Tri-Ply Clad 2 Qt Covered Stainless Steel Covered Sauce Pan - Glass Lid
1 un. $ 19.75
Tri-Ply Clad 5 Qt Stainless Steel Covered Dutch Oven - Glass Lid
1 un. $ 26.95
6 Qt Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Covered Deep Sauté Pan - Glass Lids
1 un. $ 35.95
Great deals - how do you like the pans?
I have listened to you and I am on the All Clad Factory sales. Some of the pans I purchased are outstanding and A LOT cheaper. Thanks!
👏 love to hear it
Ross is another one of those places to get good cookware at a really good price.
I got my very first high-end All-clad skillet at Bed Bath and Beyond, it was a display model and on top I used one of those 20% off coupons they had.
I did something similar, had a 20% and a 15% coupon and they let me stack them! Was already marked down.
My husband bought me a Made IN Pan for mothers day (yes I wanted it) & it is GREAT!!!!!
Love it! Which one? Stainless steel?
Thanks for the information! Great content!
Thank you!
Great video… very informative. We have purchased several seconds from LeCreuset. Mostly paint drips etc,
Awsome video! I just wanted to add that TJX actually owns 5 stores, the last store is Sierra Trading Post (not very common, there is only one in my city). I only mention this since they usually hold most of the lodge cast Iorn from 6.5 to 13 inch skillets plus the Dutch ovens at similar discounted prices.
Good call - I didn’t realize they sold cookware too. I haven’t been to one yet but I’ll have to check it out.
@@PrudentReviews I wouldn't expect anything more then the cast iorn there. Sierra is more camping/outdoors focused. I haven't seen cooking stuff like the other stores.
@@miguelmora3629 that makes sense
This is great advice. I have found a couple of things at these locations.
I recently got a All-clad D5 8 qt pot at Home goods for less then half price.
Amazing deal 👍🏼
I can vouch for this. I just picked up an entire set of Viking non stick cookware for $250, it’s the set they sell for $600.
I really miss the Essex Retail Outlet stores around Nashville TN.
Great Bro 🙏
I didn’t have any luck with my last visit to HomeGoods and similar discount stores. Besides Lodge cast iron that wasn’t discounted much, probably because the price is already so low, everything was either non-stick or made in China.
Tip#1 has served me well over the years. It is quite a hit-or-miss but when you do find something nice, it will be cheap.
I love Costco!
Good video. Sadly I live outside the US but still fun to watch
I may need to make a follow up video with tips for getting sales worldwide. What country are you in?
@@PrudentReviews From Israel, where everything's expensive and there are no sales ever lol. I'm forced to order from Amazon
Great tips! Please make a similar video but for Europe 😃
I got my 8.5 inch G5 off eBay for 119, I think it's 179 elsewhere. No box or lid, but I already had a lid that fit it. The deal is still up it looks like, and there is one left.
Was it new or used?
@@PrudentReviewsBrand new
@@PrudentReviews I hope it was legit and I didn't get scammed or anything. *edit* Totally forgot about the extremely legitimate looking registration process. I can't imagine eBay scammers are that good.
I could not click on the link for the all clad sale on your welcome letter after I subscribed to your newsletter. The links Looked active, but would not activate.
As to the All clad factory sale is that they will not ship to the UK
Good call, I should have mentioned that. They ship within the US only.
It's a pity these goods are not sold in the UK
agreed!
@@PrudentReviewsno it is called tkmaxx not tj
@prudentReviews Do you ever find deals at bargain/clearance stores like Ollie’s or Bargain Hunt?
There are no Bargain Hunt stores near me and I've never been to Ollie's, but if anyone knows, please let me know
ive seen these at tjx stores but the non stick stuff is scratched to hell be careful.
You definitely need to inspect it. Often they break up the sets and sell the pieces individually, so it’s not in the original packaging and can get damaged.
Hm…ALL CLAD HA1 series offer such mediocre quality! Especially when using induction range ! Shocked and now I am stuck ! 😮

Any tips for Smithey carbon steel skillets like their Little Farmhouse?
It’s rare but they do run sales. If you join my newsletter I will email you when they go on sale. prudentreviews.com/newsletter/
Americans only*
Thrift shops are some of the most depressing places to be in.
Not always...I found three All-Clad pieces at Goodwill for $5.99 each.....12 inch skillet, 3 quart saute pan and 6 quart dutch oven. They were dirty but otherwise in perfect condition. Retail was: $150. $199. And $299. Lids alone were $30 each retail. Thirty minutes with some Barkeeper's Friend and I had $600+ of cookware for $20.
