you help me so much
I am so glad that you found the video helpful 👍👍👍
but what's the use of LHS=RHS and hundreds of formulas?
Very valid questions!! LHS = RHS questions are not just confined to trigonometry but also in algebra , matrices etc. One reason why we study these type of questions is to master the technique of applying different formulae to convert a given expression to the required form. And as for the hundreds of formulae, yes, as we learn trigonometry in higher levels, it is the formulae that come to the rescue....In this video, simple examples have been discussed....but it's just the tip of the iceberg.... trigonometry is very useful in solving complex real life situations!!
Would love it if other viewers too share their answers to the above mentioned question.....👍👍👍
Dear mam, a wonderful effort by you.....
I didn't understand how u use Tan or sometimes sin to take out value of theeta
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment.Very happy to know that you found the video useful 👍 👍
Can you mention in which application you are having doubt in the use of tan and sin? I will definitely try to clarify your doubt
@@EnjoyMath thanks for replying mam....
1:03 y u used Tan 30° y not sin or cos.......sorry mam I'm a bit weak in maths
let us consider the right angled triangle ABC in that application diagram. Angle B = 30° and angle C = 90 °.So for angle 30 ° ( which we can also call theeta )let us identify the hypotenuse, adjacent and opposite sides . The hypotenuse = AB whose value we don't know. The adjacent side is BC which is equal to 20 feet and the opposite side is AC which again we don't know and we need to find. So Sin 30 = opposite side/ hypotenuse = AC/AB....But both AB and AC are unknown only Sin 30 value we know....so finding AC from Sin 30 is very tough... similarly cos 30= adjacent side/ hypotenuse = BC/AB ...here we know cos 30 and BC values...so we can use this equation to get value of hypotenuse AB and then put the value of AB in sin 30 equation to get value of AC...so cos 30 we can use, it's absolutely right way, but it is a bit lengthy ..that's because if you look at tan 30 equation it is tan 30 = opposite side/ adjacent side= AC/BC....and the great thing is that we know values of tan 30 and BC. So on using tan 30 equation , in one shot you will get the value of AC which we need....so there is no one and only one way to solve such questions....you are absolutely correct in questioning these answers....and come up with your own way of solving these questions.
Hope above explanation has helped. Please do let me know👍
@@EnjoyMath Mashallah mam,
You explained in such a great way.....
Do you teach somewhere.....I've some other doubts to ask if you could help...
U got a new subscriber mam
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement 👍👍
happy to know that your doubt got clarified. ...Sure you can share your doubts....will try my best to help. Yes, taking tutions for school students
Mam tqq so much such a wonderful video...mam I have an interview on applications of trigonometry....so how to prepare for this .. please help me mam
Thank you so much for the lovely comment 🙏🙏 very happy to know that you found the video useful👍👍
For the interview, here are a few pointers -
1. Be thorough with concept of right angled triangles, hypotenuse, adjacent side and opposite sides.
2. Trigonometric ratios - their meaning, sine, cos, tan, cosec, sec, cot - their definitions, how they are inter related. The identities relating the above ratios.
3. Then, learn the main areas of life that Trigonometry is most useful. And may be learn atleast 2 examples from each area. For instance, in construction, it's used for wheel chair ramp and also to design roofs.
4. For each example, have the diagram ready. Trigonometry is all about visualisations and constructing the right angled triangles.
Hope above helps.Pls let me know if you have any other doubts.
All the very best !!👍👍
@@EnjoyMath tqq so much mam
...really your videos are very helpful to me
Most welcome 👍👍
Happy to be of help 🙏🙏
The first building problem, how to measure angle? It's not like they're carrying ruler everytime, right
Yes, you are correct....we cannot measure angles with protractor or ruler....clinometer or inclinometer is used, as mentioned in the video...pls let me know if you have any questions....
@@EnjoyMath my bad. Then it's necessary to use tools for measuring things
Np 👍👍
Yes we do need separate instruments for measuring parameters of the real life objects
Thank you sister may Allah rewards you goodness and paradise
Most welcome!! Thank you so much for the beautiful wishes ..really delighted to read your comment 😊😊
❤❤
Thank you so much!! 😊😊👍👍
Hello mam I hope you are doing well🥰, it's very helpful to watch this video to understand what is the purpose of trigonometry still we don't know about this but, now we understood what trigonometry is. Please Mam can I have the ppt of this video thank you so much ❤.
Really delighted to read your wonderful comment!! 👍👍👍
Happy that the video has been of help to understand trigonometry better...
Abt the ppt, due to copyright issues that may crop up ,i am unable to share the ppt.... really sorry about it...hope you understand 🙏🙏🙏
@@EnjoyMath Ok no problem.... And thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️ for giving me a time and loved your work... it's really helpful 🙏
Thank you for understanding....and for your encouraging words, means a lot 👍👍😊😊
could you please share this PPT
Sorry, but due to copyright issues,I am unable to share the ppt 🙏🙏🙏
how did you get the 0.5774?
Hello, tan 30 is 1/√3 which in decimal form is approx 0.5774.. that's the value substituted in the equation...pls let me know if you have any questions
Omg omg!!
Thank you so much 😊😊👍👍
how you are getting 0.3640 in height of lighthouse?
The value of tan 20 = 0.3640
We already know the height of the lighthouse to be AB = 60 m
Tan 20 = AB/BC
Substituting values we get
0.3640 = 60/BC
Hence BC = 60/0.3640=164.8352 m
which is the required horizontal distance.
In the video , I have done the substitution and cross multiplying together in the last step to save time.
Pls let me know if this helps 👍👍
Thanku mam i clearly mam ❤❤ pls do more videos of 10th mam pls
Most welcome!! Sure, will make more videos on 10 th grade....Pls do share the topics you want videos to be made on..that will be of great help👍👍
@@EnjoyMath ok mam i will
Hi mam i want a videos about the trigonometric ratio its little confusing i want this video from u so mam 😁
Definitely...will try my best to come up with the videos soon. Thank you so much for the suggestion 👍👍👍
@@EnjoyMath 😁ok mam
yes, it is easy, but how do you measure angles in the real world???? distance or height you can know
but not angle, there is no device
Really appreciate your inquisitive bend of mind... For angles there are many instruments such as Clinometer/Inclinometer, Theodolite, Goniometer....you can make diy Clinometer too!! Pls check the video at 1:34 , these instruments are mentioned. Let me know if you have any questions...
@@EnjoyMath Thank you,
But, how do you have all of this knowledge in depth? What's your major if I may ask? what is your educational background?
I have done my masters in computer science, but math has always been something I have loved since class 10...hence have kept learning math since then and haven't ceased to derive happiness in simply doing math problems or learning new math concepts....
Mam your explain is wonderful but your explained in kannda why we are using the trigonometry plzmam
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment!! Sorry although I stay in Bangalore I cannot converse that well in Kannada...
Mere ko blood se dar lagta h mujhe building b nhi bnani phir b ye sb prhna prta h 😂
Bahut witty comment hai aapka. Haan aapki baat bhi sahi hai😂😂😂
How we find the correct angle
Are you referring to the angle of elevation?
@@EnjoyMathyeah
@@EnjoyMathhow can we Find Angle Without any tool To Calculate Exact Value
Well, without any tool,I am not sure if the angle of elevation can be calculated in real life...i think some tool is needed, like clinometer or inclinometer...
not real life use unlesss you are in the STEM industry. real life for most people is if you want to buy something, pay for something, not measue heights of mountains or blood splatter
Hello, yes I agree with u...these are not daily uses, we don't use trigonometry to manage our day to day activities....but their concepts are used to construct the homes we live in, in astronomy,it's used in forensics....these are real life applications, not daily life applications ....
@@EnjoyMath real life use case for me is something more practical in daily life, say maybe, something for the general populace, not inolved in STEM. Thanks for clarifying that
@@lug.5329 Yes, i can totally relate to your point of view....it's important to have that type of thinking in order to discover new ways of applying existing concepts... We all need to keep questioning and try making math more relatable....we are all in the same boat 👍👍👍👍
Are you Indian?
Yes, from Bangalore, India 👍
Mathematics is language of universe
That's so well said !! Hope and wish that more and more of us start thinking in this way....then we can learn math with less anxiety and more enjoyment 👍👍👍👍
how to mark angle at our line of sight while we are looking it
Hello, there is an instrument called inclinometer that helps to find the angle of inclination...you may research the details about it's working...
