Great video, I've personally only ever used shimano and penn because penn was something I grew up with and shimano i got them all 70% off working at bass pro shop selling reels haha(the shimano rep would get us discount codes direct from them). Also another thing incase you were wondering about the 5+1 bearing thing is confusing just to trick people into thinking there's more ball bearings than there are because most people think that it means there is 6 in there but the +1 is usually the anti reverse or roller bearing in the handle/reverse lock thingy, not sure if you knew that but anyone else reading this might like that little tidbit of info :D. That's great info about the bearings I had no idea! I just know some bearings are higher quality so i've never payed too much attention to how many there was haha
I really wish there was an option for the ‘gosa between 6k and 8k sizes. The 8k can be a bit large and hefty sometimes, but the 6k feels a little pew-pew.
For surf fishing i use penn slammer 4 4500 and 5500 to put sand spikes. Saragosa be fine also. For in the surf i use van staal and visser. For pier, i use diawa saltist mq and diawa ballistic mq.
