A thermal camera and a cheap borescope from Amazon is your best friend. Also get or make a bee vacuum. It's so hard to frame up new comb! Drawn comb is like having gold! Congrats on the queen!
The Purple flower in my front yard was not lavender. Did a little research and it’s called “Russian Sage”. Bees, butterfly’s and humming birds love it. Deer do not ;).
