  • Here's my 2013 Nissan GTR purchase video that I promised you guys. I've broken down the associated fees and taxes when I purchased my GTR. I hope this gives potential buyers or those whom are curious and idea on how hefty (or light) these payments can be. May all your goals be met. This video is 100% misleading. Yes, a $28,141.12 loan @ 4.698% amortized over 3 years would only be $2,084.48 in interest, but you're not factoring in all of the interest that you've already paid up until the point that you refinanced. So you'd be paying $2,084.48 PLUS all of the interest from when you paid your loan balance down from $76,978.96 down to $28,141.12.
    In your example, you're saying after 2 years you'd refinance the loan. Well in those first 2 years you would have already paid $6,400 in interest, which you don't mention. Then you go on to say you can refinance again 2 years after that, well in those next two years you would've paid another $3,800 in interest. By the time you're coming around to your third refinance you've already paid $10,000 in interest.
    This "trick" doesn't work. Refinancing over and over again into the same interest rate makes ZERO sense for anyone to do. You're not refinancing if you're keeping the same rate at every single point in the process, you're simply "recasting" and re-amortizing your exact same loan at a different term length, which saves you NO money. You should only refinance if you're lowering the interest rate OR you're having trouble maintaining the payment amount and need to lower your payment.
    Re-do your graphic and include how much interest you would have already paid up until every point that you "refinance" and your total interest figure will come out to the same as you would have had before assuming you're making the minimum payments at each refi term.

      I think the idea is to refinance at a lower interest rate after you’ve paid down some principal. Interest rates were substantially higher in 2014, than they were in say 2017. Plus, if you pay ahead or lump-sum along the way, that negates a lot of interest. That’s how I took it anyway.

    • @kongmlee92
      @kongmlee92 Před 3 lety

      Refinancing won't save you but increase your total amount in the end. Refi can probably bring down your monthly payment but extend your length of payment. No secret there.

    I'll add to this... I picked up my 2017 orange GTR 2 weeks ago for $84,500. Paid another $1,240 to have it shipped in an enclosed trailer. Paid another $7,300 in taxes. Another $1200 for insurance for 6 months. First thing when it showed up I did: oil change / differential flush ~$200 in oil to do it myself. Also needed to replace the brake pads with a set of Posi Quiet pads ($150 self installed) because the stock brakes have such high metal content and are so noisy!!
    Not cheap to initially get a GTR but now I don't foresee any further costs for long time.

Gtr well because it’s a monster in every way let’s be honest, it has turbos its fast AWD and well a GTR! for me that alone will make me happy how good it will sound with BOV sucks it’s not manual but I never had a dct, let’s see if I get bored..I like the fact that it can do what all the cars on my list can do and maybe better only down side no MANUEL🤡 oh and it’s $1100+ a month but I kno I can do it I just need to go to the dealership and pull the trigger...I just want more then 310Hp that my subie(affordable dream car) has I don’t drag race and in my area I kno I’ll have the fastest thing on the road 90%of the time that alone makes me happy. Not to mention the turbos and flex fuel, exhaust and tune it will get, yup I’m a RICER.

    Godzilla, one of the best vehicle's with a powerful 3.8L twin-turbocharged VR38DETT V6. These engines are hand built by only four specially trained mechanics called "Takumi Craftsmens" on a special line at Nissan Yokohama plant, their names are badged on ever GT-R engine. The cars are built at their Tochigi plant on a shared production line.

      You get a quote from nissan ($105,000) haggle and act like you're super interested say its too much. Then they will ask you whats your price say something stupid like (80,000) then theyll say no walk away. They will call you cause they want the sale. Dealer will call you with a price 90,000

    • @lordfefe6908
      @lordfefe6908 Před 3 lety

      Then they'll will say 90,000.... then you take that info to another dealer and tell them hey I'm looking into a gtr, the best price dealer A can do is $88,800... then dealer B will say i can match that possible knock dowm another $3-5000 how does that sound. By then that sounds really really good lol worked on my truck 55,000 got it for 42,000, worked on my porsche 70,000 and got it for 56,000

    Great discount from Msrp.
    Interest rate is nothing special.
    Refinance is only good if it will get you a lower rate.

    4% interest is high. I would rather pay cash and no never refinance first of all don’t finance at all. I know people don’t have $30k laying around to drop on a car but you can simply get an 09-12 GTR for $45k-60k. It’s better to wait and pay for it cash

  • @kuvyoghmoobamelica6883

    What's also stupid is, people also talk about a 30 year mortgage loan and a 15 year mortgage loan. Not everyone one can pay a 15 year mortgage loan because the monthly payment would be almost double a 30 year loan. I've recently bought a house at $1700/month and if I were to get a 15 year loan for my house, I would be looking at $2800/month or so. Why would I want to pay $2800/ for a mortgage loan? Same exact thing for a car that you want.

    • @kuvyoghmoobamelica6883
      @kuvyoghmoobamelica6883 Před 3 lety

      @Home Phomm It does, and it depends on how much the house cost. My house is $390k, I downed $25k and still paid a little over $1700/month on a 30 year loan. If I were to cut that in half to 15 years, I would be paying $2500+/month. It could be $3000/month, and I don't want a mortgage that's $3000/month.
