To unlock the apartments you need to enter in every room , many rooms have brick walls there is one room you need to crouch jump into .
Tips:
1. You do not need heat to get a resident. Keep looking you will find someone who will accept your first basic place.
2. Selling lockpicks is awesome sauce (one stop shop)
3. Cooking skills up quality as well as success chance. So maybe spam lower end meals.
4. If you have a bucket you can 'craft' water in the sink at the small building where you get free pea soup by praying
5. Its a bit too late but at the start one should let their addictions get above around 80% before drinking or eating mushroom and after just a few days it goes away forever (I think)
26:47 that noise is to tell you an upgrade is finished and waiting for you to pay it off
Give the blue duck for that duckdude at the bar, so you don't have addiction. You can use a big plastic canister for drinking water. 23:11 is a grave candle.
i love this! There are so many different options and problems that make every person's experience different. A couple of things - Carry a big container of water - more water, easier to refill. Talk to everyone about what they need to live in (can you make notes?) - some people want basic. The hamburger and hot dog place open at night sells glowing options.
Based on the roadmap from the dev, I believe that Unit 2 will be a player owned store at some point in the future. For the time being, you can only explore 16/17 apartments.

Honestly, if I were you, I'd still be collecting and returning as many bottles as I can even when I have a ton of money.
Lockpick nice apartments avoid cameras. You can stand under them or out of their view to still lockpick doors in games.
Congrats on getting your first tenant! That’s awesome. Hopefully they show up in the building once they’re moved in, but it’s still cool to see that kind of progress after you’ve worked so hard on the building already. 😊

Right now the first floor apartment cannot be accessed, apparently it will be added later and it has been alluded to on the forums that it might be a shop.
Who could imagine Central European dystopian misery would be more compelling and fun than real life. I think it's the degree of control you have over what happens to your character.
I mean, it being fiction helps. Pretty sure IRL it would be horrendous to experience lol

1:31 you can't open that unit.. apparently its going to be player shop or something like that.. says the dev
1:46 you already have access to that unit just go up to the floor and walk into every single room it will update on the blueprint and become available to rent
2:43 you addition has probably reached the max stage (you would've got an achievement for it) she its super hard to get rid of now you might want to switch back to the mushroom just take one when its at 99% and it should drop it to about 0% for awhile when its down relax in the sauna for a bit it should help (i really wish we had a stats screen to actually see all of our status alot better and clearer)
19:23 notice how its still going up? thats part of the well rested boost you get boost throughout the day so it can counter some of the negatives you get if you have like no neatives you will just constantly raise you can be at 100% good mood 24/7 you REALLY need to work on getting rid of mushrooms

@@Grillmastah ya once you get max shroom stage its bad... most people restart lol you eating shrrooms on day one really knocked you back lots Lol if you ever do another run just ignore the shrooms and let it die on its own Lol

You can't remove addictions by feeding them more mushrooms lol use the sauna's is the only way, I got rid of all the addictions by day 2.
Ya I screwed up by maxing mushroom, think that's why it's taking so long. Tried a bunch of times, probably several hours real life time sitting in there and still wont break
@@Grillmastah i did the same thing, then i started to use mushroom water, it took away a lot more than sigaretts and after some days it was gone. im not sure why, but worked for me. mushroom water can be found in some sinks in apartments, not 100% sure, but maybe in the bar in the basement. also, if you use a 20l plastic can, you can fill it with water, so you dont need a lot of bottles
You know that there is a sauna behind your apartment building with lots of firewood and a ball grill is similar to my summer car sauna in the way is use? @@Grillmastah
