Yea!!! Chance's voice always cuts right into my heart and soul. I am a sucker for a great baritone. They have that mellowness and his if sultry and incredible. So happy he's been able to branch out and sing more solos because he has that voice for it! Thanks for sharing this. It is the first time I got to hear it!! You know Sami is the ulimate editor on a lot of Home Free's stuff. It makes sense for them to collab together on him singing, her editing. She's a great photographer also! And they ARE right there together anyway, so, why not? lol. Take care.

This artist did a wonderful rendition but if you really want to hear the true feeling of this tune there is no body like the original Blaze Foley. The way Blaze lays down the lyrics makes me bawl like a baby.
I haven't thought about the reference to touring, but now, since you mentioned it, it's obvious. Thanks for a great reaction! Chance's voice is stunning and I'm super excited to hear more of it. I know the guys, and the Fries, miss the touring, but I am so grateful for all the new music, all the content, they are giving us as a group and on their own. They are all evolving into something greater. And I'm loving it!
Is it me or does he remind you of an early Neil Diamond? His voice and tone sounds so much like him here.

Thank you for the reaction to Adam Chance and his music. He really is a great singer. we can see why Home Free wanted him to take over Chris' spot. Love this song and his singing Hurt with the Hound & the Fox. and Wellerman with them also..... Oo de lolly, and a song with Peter Hollins Take Me Home Country Road. Chance, Austin and Tim all have great music out there. Happy that they want to stay together also. Thanks again
This really checked all the boxes as far as I'm concerned - such a wonderful talent and the song was made for his voice. The lyrics were so haunting but soulful....
