- Played on a PAL copy of the game.
READ: Wayne Gretzky lacked a fundamental campaing mode for me to beat. Thus what I elected to do was play a couple of multiplayer matches with my friend for this one. That way, the core game was still being shown without the longplay having to drag on. The credits were hidden in the title screen.
Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey is a video game developed by Williams Entertainment, published by Atari Games for the arcade in 1996. A port for the Nintendo 64 console was released almost simultaneously with the arcade version,[2] on November 11, 1996, making it the first-ever 4-player game for the Nintendo 64. The game was subsequently re-released as Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey '98 (also ported to the PlayStation) and later in an Olympic version.
As opposed to the more realistic ice hockey gameplay seen in Electronic Arts' NHL series, Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey features arcade-style gameplay, with moves such as "power saves", which cause the goaltender to briefly transform into a brick wall, "power shots", which set the net on fire or knock the goalie into the net, and "power checks", which send an ambulance across the top of the screen. It features high-scoring games and over-the-top fights. There is also a simulation mode for those looking for more realistic gameplay.[3] The game allowed the creation of profiles and would keep track of important individual and team stats, including goals, assists, and wins, among others. - Hry

This game was great! The fact that you can launch your opponent 5 feet in the air forcing them to do a back flip and land right flat on their face is hilarious! Lol
This was one of my favorite hockey games!
The first night I played this at my friend's house. We played NHL 95 and 96 a lot. I just couldn't believe how amazing it was. This stuff was revolutionary when you were 10 years old. And go wings lol

At the title screen press A 20 times. If you did it right a list of credits and pictures of the developers will appear.
