it's been 3 years since Guardian (镇魂) first aired, but i'm just now making this video lol. i can't stop thinking about zhubai (zhu yilong and bai yu) heLP.
as always with RPFs, please keep in mind that this is all for fun !! i am in no way shape or form assuming either person's sexuality, their relationship, etc. i'd like to keep the fourth wall alive ;-;.
this is like the first video i've edited in like years so it took me so long omfg, but there's a lot more zhubai content than I thought tbh, so i might make another crack :)

There have been some speculations among various different people (Chinese people mainly) that the two might be dating and are STILL together. People have done so many analyses of these two. You can read and watch them on sites like Billibilli (Chinese CZcams) and Lofter (Chinese blog) (unfortunately they are in Chinese though). The candies I have seen from them are super sweet! Those who are a fan of Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo and who are BJYX fans, would probably know what I mean when I say "Candies." Anyways, it was Long ge who went after Xiao Bai (and the chase certainly wasn't easy because Xiao Bai was the one who kept hesitating. Afterall he did he say he was straight and had dated a girl before and that's a fact).
At first i didn't believe it, bc it seemed a little too good to be true and yes I do hardcore ship these two, but after spending months of reading analysis and comments from people, I'm 100% convinced that they are together and are still thriving!!!!! Zhubai SZD

They both went through a period of entanglement, frustration, and hesitation before having the courage to commit to this relationship. I'm glad they were able to find each other through the casting of this show. The 30-year mark was a real turning point for ZYL's life in terms of career and love life. At the age of 30, his popularity rose and at the same time, he found his true love.

Its hard to write down every single thing that happened in the last of 5 years when they’re together. In fact, I'm still making up for the classes for the things/details I've missed. I’ll start with the songs first (these are the ones I rmred atm, meaning there should be more). All the songs that LG sang on stage were either sang or dedicated to XB. I’ve included the links and time stamps for your reference: XB is Xiao Bai (Baiyu), LG is Long ge (Zhuyilong).
In one of XB’s livestream, he mentioned two songs that he couldn’t sing. One is “Xiao Ban” (little half), the other is “let me stay by your side.” and guess what??? both of these songs were sung by LG afterwards…coincidence? Here, LG is trying to say “its OK that you can’t sing these songs, bc I WILL SING IT TO YOU.”

On 2018 new years eve, LG sang and played on the piano. The song he performed was “Nan Hai” (男孩) Towards the middle of the song @2:01, he incorporated Minnie Riperton’s “loving you.” He added the “lalala” part. A week or 2 later in January 2019, XB participated in a Lancome event (I think he’s the brand ambassador for Lancome). At the event, a woman sang “loving you” on stage. When she got to the “lalala” part, XB suddenly lowered his head and got really emotional (a fan recorded his reaction on this).

LG likes to change the lyrics of the songs he sings. On his 2019 Birthday, he recorded a video of himself singing “Ten Miles of Spring Breeze” while playing the guitar. @0:30 he changed the lyrics from “yuan fang (遠方) (faraway/distance)” to “Bei fang (北方) (North)” and when he sang “bei fang,” he looked up into the camera and smiled. XB is from Xi’an and people from Xi’an pronounce “Bai “白 as “Bei”北. He mentioned this in their double live stream. Also, the length of the video is 48 seconds (XB’s bday is April 8th or 48). And then 8 days ago, on XB’s birthday, XB also sang and played on the guitar (the time length of that video is 4:16) (Lg’s birthday is April 16)

In this event, LG sang 3 songs. In the 2nd song @1:48 notice how the background screen has suddenly been changed to the universe and feathers (again relating to XB bc universe and feathers in Chinese both have the word “Yu” and XB’s fans are called “little universe”).
When it came to the 3rd song, pay attention to the lyrics on the bottom of the screen. @3:55 it said “I fell in love with HIM.” The word that appeared on the bottom of the screen was changed to a masculine “他” or “he” when the original lyrics of the song was suppose to be a feminine “她” or her. The first character might be a typo but when u see the same “he/him” appearing over and over again in the same song, its not a mistake, its intentional!!!

@milkchop For International fan like me, we have to depend on subtitles videos such as wenella x zyl, node zero and google translation which is sometimes suck. Although I enjoy their other artworks, I am very happy to see their friendship off screen which is very rare after 2018. So, I cried over Zhubai and even wondering in BJYX/YIZHAN Fandom to quench my thirst.😁 They show their affections in different ways is kind of adorable. Unexpectedly, your vids lighten me up. Thank you. Currently I am on weibo chasing Zhubai news. Just learn that Bai Yu new work "Long Cheng Family"? the way the back of Baiyu is exactly same as Long long's in the poster.
