Those are a nice size pie Vonie makes you bet their tasty .Nothing like sitting at the cabin with the wind blowing through the trees sipping a coffee eating a pie from Vonie and feeding the Canada Jay's lovely to watch.
Nice video. To hell with chores... I had a push mower just like your mower. It was the best machine I ever owned. With over 95 degree temperatures here in Texas, I gave up mowing at age 76 and gave the mower to my next door neighbor. I did get a Ryobi electric and it does what I need. I pay a lawn guy $55 bucks every 2 weeks. It's worth it. I can't keep up with the projects. From near Fort Worth.

Some years ago, I thought I heard you say your hand pump well water had too much iron in it. Is there a way to filter that out and use the filtered water?

Those mushrooms are fine to eat.Especially sliced up in gravy on steak, yummy p.S , please get a window fan for hot Humid days.
You can also buy a brand new metal trash can to catch rain water. MY folks used to do that at their old cabin.

Well Marty I find when my brush mower runs out of gas it is usually about the same time I have too. (I'm 76)

Your mower and you combined to do that job. I preferred to use a self-propelled brush mower to do that work: the saplings were mulched faster.
This set up is light enough so no worries about getting stuck in the wet stuff.

Some things we can't control but most really have respect for the cabin.
Martin you need a chainsaw on the front of that mower.
Many would say do not give him any ideas like that.

Those mushrooms seem to have a lot of names. I know the mower is an outlaw but safer that getting down there with a chainsaw.
