This is not a baby anymore, she has full teeth, doesn't respect mom wishes, seen in a video of her mom weaning and she bites mom, that why not protect, she asked for it
Every bit of it. She didn't have respect for ANY of her elders.

First of all, they get their teeth at between 1 and 2 mo old. They aren't weaned until 14 mo some nurse til 18 mo unless your sweet pea! Also, look at how she was treated from 2 wks old. Dana hardly fed her, didn't want to teach her the ways. These babies learn through watching their mamas and other monkeys. But then again, how could Dana teach her or nurse her when DeeDee and Dolly were grabbing her and torturing her every chance they got? Did ya'll ever stop to think maybe that's why she started biting?! As a defense mechanism. That's all she could do, she's so small! She was still a baby, she didn't deserve any of what she got. Even the eating out of turn. Yea, maybe she knew better, but when you're not getting the nutrients your body needs and these humans that are around you daily start offering you food, while everyone else is eating, you'd probably take it too. I've seen a few videos where she was offered food and ran away, they kept following her until she took it. I get the whole alpha deal, the groups need an alpha, otherwise, things would fall apart. I also understand the whole ranking deal as well. Why do the babies need food from the VO's or any other human when they have access to milk anytime they need it....unless you're getting taken from your mama every 5 min and dragged around by your tail over boulders, or grabbed by fat old ugly Dolly, and placed on her chest only for her to jump within 5 min and look at you like you surprised her and just popped up on her chest for the hell of it. Then she continuously pulls your head back and bites your head and face. I mean why grab her if she didn't want her touching her?! And no she wasn't trying to nurse, she was calling for her stupid mama! I mean she would get Daniella back and 2 min later let her wonder off just to get snatched up by psycho DeeDee again. Daniella would be with her mama not bothering anyone and here would come wicked awful witch and her evil daughter. Dana would resist at first, then she just drops her arms and scratches her head and looks away. She didn't want Daniella. I've only seen 1 video where Dana actually blocked their every attempt at grabbing Daniella. What happened when they realized they weren't getting her? They walked away. My point is, Daniella was still a baby, she still needed the nutrients breastmilk provides. She couldn't eat and feel safe in her moms arms. She lived in fear and through torture in the very short life she lived. My point us, she didn't start biting just to be mean, it was the only way she could protect herself. Maybe she had no control over it, maybe her body reacted on fear.
Also, I would pay someone $200 to grab DeeDee and drag her over the rocks like that, maybe smack her around a few times. Take her baby from her, not abuse it, just keep it from her. I mean keep it close enough that she can see it, but not close enough for her to be able to touch it or grab it back. Sorry this was so long, Daniella is a sore subject for me. Maybe its the mama in me causing me to react the way I am. If you read this far, Thank you!

They grow and learn at an extremely fast rate compared to human children. They are walking and have teeth within a couple weeks after birth. Daniela would eat out of turn (The adults eat first, babies last-if there's anything left). Daniela also knew this law of the heirarchy and that's obvious by her actions the day she was killed. Her constant screeching and cooing was a huge no-no in monkey land. It drawls unwanted attention, predators and puts the whole troop in danger. Dana, her mom, tried teaching her to no avail so, Dolly, the alpha, stepped in and tried disciplining her as an alpha is supposed to, and she still refused to listen. Daniela remotely was killed because she thought she could do whatever she wanted and the heirarchy rules didn't apply to her. Don't play dumb.

Dana was the mother of Daniela. Daniela refused to listen to her elders and totally disrespected the rules. Dolly, the alpha at the time, tried correcting her behavior because mom couldn't/Wouldn't. Mom ended up only coming around Daniela to feed her because Daniela got her into so many fights. Daniela also wouldn't ever shut up. It didn't matter if she was hungry/with her mom or not. She constantly went around cooing and screeching. A constant screeching monkey drawls unwanted attention and predators. It annoys troop members and the troop won't tolerate it. That's why you see monkey moms cave in to their screeching brat during weaning wars. In the end, the whole troop turned against Daniela and she was killed by a rogue male.
