„My sister’s crown“
Moje sestra do kouta nepůjde
Ani tebe poslouchat nebude
Moje sestra v srdci je divoká
Copy zaplést, nikdy si nenechá
Moje sestra do kouta nepůjde
Ani tebe poslouchat nebude
My sister’s crown
Don’t take it down
Don’t take it down
Nobody has right to do it
She’s beautiful
And capable
She is her own queen
And she will prove it
You can take your hands back
No one wants more boys dead
We’re not your dolls
We’re not your dolls
Life’s not a moneybag
Blood’s on your God’s head
You can’t steal our souls
You can’t steal our souls
Sestro krasiva
Oj ty silna
Chorobra jedina
Korona tvoja
Дай ръка не се страхувай
С другите сестри поплувай
В морето ни нямаме място за тези омрази
Пази, пази
Не тъгувай
Хоп троп момите не са нон-стоп на разположение
Ти просто че сме сестри до край знай!
You can take your hands back
No one wants more boys dead
We’re not your dolls
We’re not your dolls
Life’s not a moneybag
Blood’s on your God’s head
You can’t steal our souls
You can’t steal our souls
Sestro krasiva
Oj ty silna
Chorobra jedina

All the sisters of the world
Come together with a prayer
Choose love over power

If the Czech Republic ever had a chance to win, IT IS THIS YEAR! This is not just a Czech song, it's all-Slavic song, all-women song, all-European song. The true Eurovision song.

This song is so powerful. It made me cry thinking of war, women, inequality and so on. As a Slovene/Croat I could understand a big part of the song showing how close our languages actually are.
I really wish this song could win as its message can touch everyone in Europe and even the world.
Sending love from Slovenia to all our slavic brothers and sisters💙!!!
Yeah, but this song is about dead boys and revenging for inequality (it’s literally in the lyrics and I’m Czech myself). This song’s way too radical for me.
The czech republic may be banned next year from the eurovision.
@@Fire-dy7tw
you misunderstood the lyrics then.. "No one wants more boys dead" - means No one (including you and me) wants more boys to die in war - meaning we want to put an end to that. While the guys in purple make people fight against each other (purple coz it was pricy color that only the wealthy rulers could afford back when) and die - which we dont want.
I am not slavic but Israeli, and the current situation here is really bad, corruption and no one feels safe, terror attacks and the people betray each other but this song makes me feel united with my sisters all around the world♡♡
@@Fire-dy7tw It's about not wanting more dead boys.
...were you suggesting that they were suggesting killing boys because women are being treated inequally?
Where do you get this weird mindset from?
As a Serbian, I can understand a large amount of the lyrics. It's the beauty of slavic languages, they're all so similar. I hope you do well in Eurovision. Pozdrav iz Srbije, svim Slovenima. Sve najbolje 🇷🇸♥️🇨🇿

I am czech and dont understand any singl slavic word.. also melody is absolutely not czech style, most russian and balkan..
This music video is brilliant. As a Romanian, we are not ethnically part of the slavic family but culturally, historically and geographically we share a lot so this resonated with me and I loved all the clever symbolism, all the details about imperialism, propaganda, unity of slavic "sisters" from an equal footing, respecting and acknowledging each one is unique and independent, all the cultural refrences. And the song itself is so good! Big kudos!

I have no connection to the Slavic countries, but as a citizen of Europe.. I’ve cried every time I’ve listened to this! ❤️️
why
Why did this song made u cry?
« Your sister’s crown » is full of blood🩸.The hypocrisy of this video is mind-blowing. Since 2014, the Ukrainian regime was bombing houses, schools, hospitals in the regions of Donetsk and Luhansk. For 8 years innocent civilians were killed by Ukrainian forces. For 8 years people were hiding from bombs and lived in shelters built underground because being on the ground could put you at risk of being shot. The entire generation of children was raised in these underground shelters. For 8 years people of Donetsk and Luhansk started organizing defence groups in order to defend themselves from the Ukrainian terrorism. Also, you don’t talk about the massacre at the trade union building in Odessa where people have been burned alive in 2014. And now you all “Stand with Ukraine” 🇺🇦 , walk with Ukrainian flags, and support this terrorist regime. I personally met people from Donetsk and Luhansk and the stories they are telling me are heartbreaking. These people are warriors. They’ve been resisting the terrorism of Ukrainian regime for years. For all people who « Stand with Ukraine », think that Ukraine is a victim of « Russian aggression », I wish you guys to experience what the people of Donetsk and Luhansk have been experiencing all these 8 years. Hopefully, your views will change.

Exactly, no words needed. The impression of the atmosphere, the lingering feeling, the sensation is so strong. I agree with you, thank you.

Slavic women are the strongest! Geez, I love this mix of languages so much. Stay strong, wherever you are now
Slavic chills 🤩 There is point if Slavic countries haven’t united yet…it disturbs some worldwide powers
This is my winner for Eurovision, love the chorus. I got chills damn.
God I love how Slavic theme is being more prominent and also more modern year after year. Sending so much love from Serbia to these beautiful ladies, Czechia and our other Slavic brothers and sisters ❤
The most underrated song at the whole contest this year
Apart from Austria, Germany, Moldova, France, Norway and Croatia.
And Australia. But this was my number 1.
I am not Slavic at all I’m Canadian but I assume like everyone here…this is a song that will always touch my heart every time I listen to it. I know there’s some hatred and rumours as to this song however I don’t agree, I feel that the message that they are trying to send is extremely appropriate and what the world needs
#chooseloveoverpower
This song gave mi goosebumps,it shows power in unity. Support from Serbia 🇷🇸❤️🇺🇦❤️🇨🇿
This song is not support for Ukraine
@@juliamaj9245 it is
Masterpiece in every possible sense. ❤️❤️❤️
@@anjaradonjic2316 It's exploiting Ukraine's situation for points in Eurovision. Not to mention the exaggerated emphasis they put on Russia being included in their representation of Slavic countries (btw I don't give a flying fuck about being Slavic and many Slavic people don't) while Ukrainians are in this type of situation. How the hell can they win points because of what's happening Ukraine while also emphasising Russia's involvement? Think about the Ukrainians and how it must feel for them. If a country was throwing bombs on yours, wouldn't you hate anyone asking you to love them at the moment? Of course it's not okay to hate Russians, but we have to be mindful of Ukraine. This is their contest. It's inappropriate.
@@anjaradonjic2316no it’s not. It’s a double standard song. It’s like “let’s leave in peace, we’re all sister and we should love each other”. It’s BS to hear it from a ruZZian girl singing it. They don’t know what sisterhood and love is by killing their “sister” Ukraine daily! Every time ruzzians say about peace and love you should be careful and stay safe. They’ve been making “love” with Ukraine almost a year now raping women, men, children, torturing and killing them. So I don’t want this kind of toxic love from them! Exclude this ruZZian girl from the band or change the song. Stop putting us under one cover of “one big slavic family”! We can’t be a family with murderers! Shame on you to singing this song!!!!
This song has everything in it: culture, message, stage potential and many other. The song in it's entirety is amazing and I really hope Vesna will get to perform in Liverpool to gain the best result ever had for Czech Republic. I am from Italy 🇮🇹 and since Czech Republic is in the SF1 (Italy votes in SF1) I will definitely vote for this masterpiece. Good luck from Italy. 🇮🇹♥️🇨🇿
most authentic vocal chorus in eurovision...
"you can't steal our souls"
When I first listened to this song I didn't understand it. Then I realized that Czechia, Russia and Ukraine are all Slavic countries. Then it all made sense. There are things that can only be said through music. Congratulations.
russia is not completely Slavic country
@@julianopasaran7200 you're right. But the European part is.
@@nunesf Of course, though we can't say that Russia is either a European or Slavic country coz most of it is in Asia and the European part of Russia is a minor part so it's fair to determine it as an Asian country
Russia is not Slavic country.
They are Asia
@@nunesf "you're right. But the European part is."
By this logic, USA is a Latino country? 🤦♂
russia just want to be a part of civilised Euopean culture, but too many of them have some kind of Mongolian aggressive imperialistic genes! Nobody cares what they "want" reality is reality, it's not "putinTV"!

it is funny how as a Slavic myself I can understand almost every other Slavic comment, both in Latin and Cyrillic
You did not win the trophy, but you won our hearts, girls! I shiver every single time I hear this powerful masterpiece! We shall overcome the evil together!!!
Czechia really wants to reach top 5 this year. The visuals of this music video are insane tho
You were my favorites for a long time, but now that Poland has a hopeless representative, my vote is with you. Slavic power!!!
I absolutely love this song, it's so meaningful and intense. Goosebumps. A lot of love from Austria to our Czech sisters.
I myself am from Ukraine, but I think that this song should win Eurovision♥️
This song just has it all. Its perfect.
12 points
My vote from Germany
This song is not about Russia and Ukraine being sisters. This is a Czech song about Czech's slavic sister Ukraine being attacked by the same nation that invaded Czechoslovakia in 1968 during Prague Spring. Czechs feel very strong solidarity with Ukraine because the Warsaw Pact invasion of 68 (which Ukraine participated in mind you, with Russia) was the reason Czechs have silently but strongly despised Russians for far longer before Ukraine's current situation. The song lyrics clearly talk about slavic countries coming from the same cultural and linguistic family (hence sisters) being under attack by someone that is supposed to be close to them yet betrays them, choosing power over love (hence them saying choose love over power, that is aimed at the invader that is choosing power over love for its neighbours). The opening lyrics in Czech are clearly aimed as a defence of Ukraine "my sister won't be cornered, she won't listen to you, my sister is wild at heart, she won't have her hair braided (by russia), she won't listen to you." And thus Czech's sister Ukraine shall keep her crown (pride and independence) and not have it taken down by Russia.

PERIODT.
so true
I hope this wins.
I'm Serbian and this song has meaning, and really has to do with love between, in this case, sisters. They didn't deserve 10th place, they deserved to at least go into the top 5, if not to win! 🇷🇸🇨🇿
