How to install metal ridge capping to a polycabonate sheeting patio

  • The owner was experiencing leaking coming from his ridge capping and dripping into his pergola area so what we did is.
    we removed the old polycarbonate ridge capping and replaced it with new colorbond roll top ridge capping.
    Here we show you what we did and how it was done by a qualified Roof plumber so if you have a patio and want to do it yourself you can.

    Crikey that last end cap was rough looking lol. Must be a better way to finish them

      Normally they would be tucked behind a gutter. The polycarbonate sheeting makes it hard because you cannot screw to it.

    I gotta do my gazebo next week but the roof is on a 35 degree angle so unsure how I am going to get up there.

      Unless you can do it off a ladder or scaffold.35 hit the point where you can no longer stand on a tin.
