The first factor is the too wide bevels. In the video (2:07) I show the wrong option (too wide) we are talking about a shiny strip along the blades.
Then I show the perfect option (2:33). The chamfer is thin. It is convenient to capture even the smallest skin rolls.

The second factor is the angle that the two halves of the tool form, reminiscent of the roof of a house.
The first I show is convenient - an acute angle (3:03).
The second inconvenient is a more obtuse angle (3:26).

Купила новые накожницы, дорогие и качественные, и не могла сначала понять, почему работать неудобно. Сама догадалась, что дело в том, какой угол пятки, домика). К сожалению, сейчас почти нет кусачек с таким углом, который на моих прежних кусачках, остаётся только отдавать заточнику подпилить щёчки. Но у нас нет заточника, увы.
