Early life
Brian Johnson is the youngest known son of Beverly Johnson and the younger brother of Carl, Sean and Kendl Johnson. It is implied that he bore a strong resemblance to Carl, as Emmet initially mistook Carl for Brian when they first met. According to Carl's flashbacks, it appears the two were close, and enjoyed creating mischief together.
Brian was associated with the Grove Street Families due to being the younger brother of the gang's leader, Sweet, but his role within the gang was unknown. Brian lived in the Johnson House in Ganton, Los Santos, until his death.
Death
Brian died in 1987. The cause of his death was never revealed, though it is implied that he was killed by a rival gang and Carl was present but he did not attempt to help Brian.
Sweet blamed Carl for Brian's death, which resulted in Carl moving to Liberty City. Carl did not attend Brian's funeral, which Sweet confirms by saying: "That's another funeral you ran away from, fool. Just like Brian's." - Hry

I personally think brain died in Idlewood The years 1986 was tough for the GSF drugs hit the town the GSF was against drugs the other sets didn't use it either the ballas who did drugs got rich and there was a gang war going on in it Idlewood because the ballas had better weapons than GSF and sweet gave cj permission watch over brian himself when we flee but the ballas had them surrounded just like the green saber another reason cj was so mad at the ballas during the green saber he got just a flashback how brain died and learned from them mistakes never run even if you are in the minority

I still wonder what Brian, Big Devil, Lil Devil and Tony looked liked before they got wasted. I can tell Tony, Big Devil and Lil Devil were true OG's and putting it down for the set by wasting Ballas, Vagos and Varrio Los Aztecas in the 80's.
Brian probably looked similiar to CJ since emmet mistakes him for Brian. Perhaps when The Balllas Killed Brian they might have mistaked him for CJ.
My guess as to how Brian died would be something like cj and Brian hanging out and being confronted by the Ballas then Brian tries to step up but ends up being shot and cj wanting to do something but because he found himself outnumbered he ran away leaving Brian for dead I could be wrong tho.

I think CJ and Brian were on some kind of mission together, maybe even as casual as tagging up turf, and then Brian died as a result of CJ not having auto aim or any balls. If he died suddenly CJ wouldn't have said "I let Brain die" instead it would be more like "They killed Brian". I think CJ had a chance to fight back but he simply chickend out and he didnt even get shot or anything which is more reason why Sweet was so ashamed of him. If the Ballas simply shot Brian at point blank range CJ would not have gotten away either. I think there was most definitely some gang war that broke out and CJ wanted to save himself more than he wanted to fight off Ballas and as a result it left Brian dead.

I think that cj and Brian were probably visiting some females from the ballas hood then the ballas got word of it then they confronted brain and CJ they were probably unarmed and outnumbered the reason I think that was due to sweet saying in that lowrider mission follow your sister before you see another dead sibling and you will see exactly what my problem is

As much as I know, Brian and some Ballas Members were in a fight throwing fists and CJ didn't to anything and let Brian die or in this case Brians neck got broken. This would even make the "GSF is based on NWA"-theory even better cause if CJ really is refering to Dr.Dre it would fit because dr.dre's brother died like this aswell in real life.

Could you imagine a prequel to San Andreas. You play as Brian! A story with big bear, b dup, and other grove families. I loved the grove missions. And the connections. Ryder’s story would be better told and maybe we can see where big smoke started turning. And Brian had to be silenced but maybe at a sacrifice? 🤔

I think to know somewhat of the lil Brian and the past story we have to pay attention to all the characters that are seen in the introduction video. I feel like rockstar is trying to show use something or make connections with the introduction video. Otherwise why would they even take time to make the introduction video.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe San Andreas is the only one that has an introduction video. If rockstar decides to tell the backstory before the event of San Andres I believe all characters involved in the introduction video play a big role if there is a new storyline coming.

1:15 thats a beta screenshot, CJ has a gun that was cut from the game it originally was in vice city and most assets were going to be carried over from vice city to san andreas but was cut like how the helicopter blades in the san andreas trailer matches vice citys blades animation style with the X style blades and in the photo of this video you can also see the grove street gangs have hoodies on their head which was cut from the game, alot of stuff was cut from the game or changed but if i explained them all you would be reading for 5 minutes.
