For the second half of the Metyr, Mother of Fingers theme, it's her second phase and the main drone of it is actually the audio from the first recording of what a black hole sounds like. This is because Metyr is actually an ancient space God, the first to land in the Lands Between, and opened up the world to influence by the Outer Gods.
Metyr itself is a blackhole. She is as strong if not stronger than Elden Beast. However she is just dumb. Metyr is basically an animal and that's why Ymir wants to replacer her and the Greater Will abandoned her.
That scratching noise in the lord of frenzied flame is actually the scream of the flame itself during the cutscene, the fact they baked that into the fuggin OST is so damn cool.
@@tristangrolleau8098 It's just so remarkable, this is how a final boss should look like, fucking epic. Gael used to be my favorite but this is on another level for me, although if we consider gameplay Gael is still better.
There’s violin, cello, piano, bells, drums, harp, flute, vocals, and so many more that I cant put here ‘cause english is not my first language and I simply do not know the words, but man, this ost is so so rich. Love the reaction, keep up the good work!
The first time i heard 50:24 i was also taken aback a bit with the sound. In further listens, i realized its just a piano, with female choir layered in on the lower octave; but its performed with such finesse that the blend of both + the big reverb makes it sound like a single instrument
It doesn't seem like anyone said anything, but the second half of Mother of Fingers is the sound of an actual black hole, slightly modified to include hints of a melody that never starts. Even if that makes it a poor song, since it's effectively only half a song compared to the rest of the OST, it's my favourite as a boss OST because it truly puts the nature of the creature you're facing into perspective. An abomination beyond mortal reckoning whi you have no business facing.
53:12 I like to think that in phase 2 she recognized the tarnished as a legitimate threat to her life and she went from a overconfident godlike being to scared creature solely focused on surviving. No theatrics, just hands.
I just started watching the video, and I can confidently say before even watching that having this video show up via my algorithm made my evening. I've been listening to Elden Ring DLC a lot lately and I also love watching/listening videos of people reacting to these OSTs so super pumped and looking forward to the next hour lol But yeah, long story short for me 1. Rellana 2. Death Knight then the rest follows. Pretty much all of them are fantastic but something separates these two for me, and Death Knight is the one that I currently cannot explain at all
Note about Elden Ring Ost, all Lyrics are gibberish and did not mean anything, it gives off the illusion of language but it done have any meaning whatsoever
Huh? So it's our theme? Cuz praising Marika is opposite of what Miquella supports, is it the case with Radagon's theme being our theme? Cuz he was the final boss
Bro please tell me you didn’t read this off of some fan lyric video, cuz there are only made up words in all of elden rings ost except ”song of lament”
@@simonlofholm4011 There's lyrics in the living failure's theme which is accurate and also uses the word "Ave" which IIRC meant hail so the lyrics must be there, but the most obvious giveaway is the word "Marika", it's there in big bold female voice
@@Gozieaaa Bloodborne's lyrics are in Latin, and are all translatable. Sorry to break it to you but elden ring's lyrics are gibberish outside of one single song (the bat lady's lament is in an extinct Japanese language)
"It sounds so heavenly, bro!" Well, the boss *is* called the "Divine Beast", lol. I have not played the DLC yet(Haven't bought it, nowhere near able to access it, don't care about spoilers) but I can confirm that this boss is a bastard.

Yup the black hole when metyr is slayed is tue connection she has between her and the greater will.
Second phase also points out how broken and out of touch she actually is
Holy shit that is cool

58:40 this moment was fucking unbeliavable, shivers down my spine. Miquella was so fucking cool, that theme is unforgettable imo.

the best ost from the studio

52:17 that's the music that plays while you are being blasted by a gamma ray burst from beyond
Damn at first misread as ray from behind 🥶
also, the sound is a sample of real black hole that was released by NASA

the second half of the mother of fingers ost actually uses the original ''sound'' of the first ''audio recorded'' blackhole
I loved the dlc's music bro, glad u reacted to it 🔥
cuuuuuurse you BAAYYYYYLE
During my fights with Gideon I switched to Putrescent Knight OST. Best time with this bastard ever 😅
I suggest:
Leyndell the capital
Malenia 2 phase
47:03 most bosses have a 1st and 2nd phase, so the OST's usually switch up half way through

I would strongly recommend watching "an incorrect summary of elden ring" its comedy at its finest.
Maybe he should wait til he finishes the game tho so he isn’t spoiled on it
something you could react to would be the ost of dark souls 3
