  • Tofu is a versatile plant based protein source that is perfect for those who want to lead a dairy free lifestyle. Tofu can be used in a variety of ways in all kinds of recipes from Shahi Paneer to Thai coconut curry. Today we are making Korean chive dumplings using tofu. Making dumplings is much simpler than you think. They are quick and easy to cook, and taste great as an appetiser, snack, or light supper.
These Korean dumplings often consists of ground beef or pork as its filling. In this recipe, we've used farm-grown chives and soy paneer/tofu as crumbled tofu has a texture similar to that of meat. The combination of soy sauce and minced garlic gives the tofu a savoury flavour that will please even a meat eater. You can also use your preferred vegetables or kimchi as the filler.
You can steam, deep-fry, pan-fry, or bake these dumplings in the oven. You can also make a lot of these and freeze them for later use.
