@@catinaprevost445 I love her too. Been listening to her ever since she hooked up with Rufus in the early 70',,s. They came to Shreveport when I was in high school and she blew me away. It was the first time I felt the hairs on my head stand straight up and my hair is natural curly. She was in perfect voice and she hit e those high notes and held them for so long I almost passed out. After that I went to see her several other times . They don't make singers like that anymore. She's 70 now and her voice is fading so her back ground singers cover her a lot now. I think that throat operation took a toll on her not to mention her 50 years of touring but she's still at it.

She was on 10 so much so that I could feel the hairs on my head stand straight up like I had stuck my finger into an electrical socket. I've been to several of her concerts throughout the years and each time she rocked. She can't beast like she use to but she is still in the game. The 70's and 80's artist are the best. They give me life.

Then I saw her in the 90's a few times still really good but with Rufus she was other worldly. I hope you were able to experience that from her. Really she was not expected to ever sing again after her throat operation over a decade ago. Although now that she's older all that touring has taken it's toll and so her back up singers help out a lot. All in all she's still amazing regardless. She's still standing after 70 years.
