The one we served at the Thai restaurant where I used to work was a very simple recipe. Bring rice wine vinegar to a boil and add sugar until viscous (about a 1:1 ratio.) Chill the dressing. Chop cucumbers, red onion, cilantro, and small tomatoes. Pour the chilled dressing over the mixture. I see a lot of variations of the recipe online. We didn't put chili in ours, if someone wanted chili oil, chili sauce, or crushed peanuts we served them on the side. Some recipes call for a bit of ginger in the dressing.
@@Emeruld1 oh wow. Do most Muslims not use ingredients that have any alcohol content to cook, even when it'll all evaporate? I'm curious bc my dad physically can't take any alcohol, like at all, but he's still ok with cooking wine and mirin because there won't be any alcohol left in the food.

If you’re baking in an oven I think this would be 425°F for 25 minutes, flipping chicken halfway through.
Thank you for another fantastic recipe!
What to do if u dont have air frayer? What is the white u added coconut crea?
Can I ask what air fryer you have? I want to get one that’s big enough to cook a bunch of chicken thighs like yours

Sake mirin soy sauce and sugar or honey is all you need to make teriyaki sauce
Literally the best.
Don't forget the ginger
I think since she’s Muslim and sake and mirin are haram she chose other ingredients

Not only does all of your food look tasty. It looks absolutely exquisite. Phenomenal presentation.👏🏾👏🏾🎉🎉

“Start with bone in chicken” immediately removes bone.
Do they sell boneless thighs with the skin where you are?
@@saltandsrirachaI guess it’s a matter of preference whether you like skin or not. But I personally would just buy boneless skinless chicken thighs.
@jolynnmarie725 yes, different strokes for different folks for sure! I love a good skin on thigh. If I'm shredding it, it's skinless.

You should leave the bone in until you plate it. It improves the flavour and moisture.
