- This has long been my favorite of her songs (which is really saying something since I love them all) and at the show tonight she made me love it even more by providing the backstory.
It is, in fact, based on a real girl. Her name was Victoria and she met Vanessa through Make-a-Wish. What makes me love this more is that the girl beat it! She is apparently about 17 now and Vanessa is hoping to find her during this tour because she lost her contact info.
So if you happen to be or know Victoria make sure to let her know that Vanessa is including this song on her new tour and is looking for her. ☺
