  • Instant relief from a painful leg calf spasm is easier than you think. But the real cause of leg cramps should not be considered unimportant. Your body is trying to tell you something. Leg cramps are a sign of something prevalent throughout the body and the sooner you address the issues, the better off your health and wellbeing will be in the long run. Stop leg cramp pain right away fast but also understand why leg cramps happen in the first place. Leg cramps are also called charleyhorses or charley horse or charlyhorse or charlyhorse depending on how you spell it.

    Much MUCH worse than calf cramps...inner thigh. I was getting them at night several years ago and they're so excruciating that I've warned family members it's possible I could die having one from a heart attack. I would be awakened by it and jump from bed immediately, no matter how deep sleep I was in, and jump around rubbing it vigorously trying to alleviate it. I've had _horrible_ chronic pain in my life including herniated discs, yet the inner thigh cramp is the worst (and I'd think nothing could be worse than nerve pain). Life can be absolute misery. Magnesium before bed resolved it, but I'll watch this vid and take Markus' advice just the same.

      Welp, horrible timing on this post...just a few days after I had my first thigh cramp in years, this time my front quad. It was excruciating, during a long day time nap due to little sleep nightly that week. I am convinced my magnesium capsules are giving me LESS magnesium in the capsules, I can feel the difference in the caps, assuming due to the economy. I had a packet of mustard by my bed just in case, it was all dried up from not using it for years, but it worked thank the gods...within seconds I was getting relief. Went out and got a bunch of fresh ones.

    The liquid in coffee counteracts what level dehydration it causes. I cut way back on it, some days I don't drink any, but that is the information. Fried food almost doesn't exist in my diet. I knew about the dehydration. My husband said he loves the sound effects. We have cut 99% of the heavily processed foods out.

    Stretching your leg muscles can help prevent and relieve leg cramps. Stretching can help muscles relax and relieve pain by massaging them out. Stretching before and after exercise can also help warm up your muscles and prevent cramps during and after activity. Some research suggests that nightly stretching can also help prevent leg cramps or reduce their pain.

  • @walterbrezden4329
    @walterbrezden4329 Před 21 dnem

    Almost right Markus.
    I just had a doozy.
    My left calf cramped up & I tried to stretch it out only to have the shin cramp up also followed by the right calf.
    Unfortunately this has happened to me before so I readily have a bottle of MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE & DMSO 50/50 mix (dimethylsolphoxide), to apply topically ASAP.
    Forget the glass of water. You will be crippled at the moment and if you don’t take immediate action a charley horse will be with you for days leaving you crippled.
    Take my advice. The magnesium will release the cramp only when it reaches the area being affected. The DMSO transports the magnesium directly through the skin and into the blood stream allowing the quickest recovery and (if you responded quickly), avoiding the crippling effect of the cramp.
    When relief comes (and believe me this way is quickest), then you can drink a tall glass of water with magnesium powder added. Don’t forget the calcium powder also. They go together like a team.
    I recommend the crushed purls as the optimal calcium source.
    Look into it. You’ll be glad I posted this.
    Love you Markus. You’re one of my favourite teachers.

    • @MarkusRothkranz
      @MarkusRothkranz  Před měsícem +1

      Riskier than water fasting. I would say it should only be done by people who are already clean and healthy, and even then rarely. If people want to detox, water is a better safer way to wash stuff out of the body, otherwise the toxins become too concentrated in the body. Dehydration is dangerous. The body also needs electrolytes, even with water fasting.

Water isn’t enough, you need potassium, magnesium, sodium. I just used a powder my friend gave me from Whole Foods, bless her, sorted it right out. Pain gone in less than 24 hours. Crazy.
