Dude this is really nice !!!! I build my own Whiskey dispenser out of epoxy, shell casings, wood and brazz. Love your idea man
I briefly mentioned this video in the latest WTV (episode #09) on my channel. Again... it's a gorgeous piece. Thanks for being awesome!
What a beautiful build!! I think I'm going to have to do this as a retirement/65th birthday gift for a family member. 🍻
Yea defenetly a great gift. I build 3 already for some family members. I also just finished my Whiskey dispenser made out and carved out of epoxy resin, shell casing and brass.
radial arm saw opening shot, big box joints, scrap hole, jet clamps?. subbed bro.
A proper box for a beautiful bottle of whiskey.
That's a truly beautiful box.
WOW, got all the way through and then saw that you picked the right Irish Whiskey. I am going to try this idea for gifts of my own. I have subscribed to the site in hopes of future ideas. Thanks
Wonderfully executed sir! Loved it all from the choice of stock to the music. I enjoy woodworking videos that don't do voiceovers.
I know what the whiskey drinkers are getting next Christmas. Thanks for the video.
besides a hang over, you mean?
Beautiful box.
This is such a nice gift box. Really nice! I mean, like, super really nice!
Very nice work Brian! The gift box turned out great and I really enjoyed the video! Thanks
Beautiful piece.
Great build! Great video, excellent choice of music.
I don't even drink whiskey and I want one of these!
Right!!!!! Its freking awsome. I build mines out of gun shell casings and epoxy. But this is by far another level lolo i love it
Very nice!
Amazing work! But all that work for Jamieson... I will have to make mine a little fatter for some Blanton's. :)Seriously impressive work.
Stunning presentation box. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful piece, and while I love Jameson, such a beautiful box should have at least Middleton Rare inside. Keep up the amazing work.
Hi Brian just came across your site and subscribed before this page had got to making joints.
beautifully done.
Beautiful box, Brian!
Very nice.
Well done.
Van Halen says thank you for the 15min guitar solo air play. :)
Gorgeous work and awesome sound track!
Beautiful box, nice work!
Man, you make good stuff.
Fantastic.
Well done
Hi Brian! In one of your (more) recent videos, I belive it was the wine glass box one, you camp the finger joints using clamping blocks. Do you see a significant improvement using "finger blocks" over clamping just inside the joints, like you did in this video? LOL, I know it is an old video, so I don't expect you to remember the details :D Cheers.
It was way easier, and the joints came out tighter using the clamping block method. I will most likely use that method every time from here on out.
Thanks for binging my content!
Beautiful!
Awesome job and beautiful!
Jameson? Ok, but i prefer Single Malt... Great Video. Subscribed.
Aberfeldy 24... Mmmmmm
Brian Benham We'll.... it'll be educational. Always good to learn something new. :)
at least you used the proper whiskey LOL
But the improper glasses...
What terrible music you discovered...sad part is, there were actually people in the music studio who right after they finished recording it said "yeah man, that's awesome"
nicely done
Very nice. I like your flare. Thanks for sharing with us. I subscribed. Steve
What kind of “dark glue” did you use on box joints? Thx
Outstanding as always Brian!
Did you use resin glue on this project? Also, where do you get your felt fabric?
Is it possible to get one of these made or was this a once off??? looking for ideally one of these but to take whiskey glasses instead of shot glasses?
Very nice box but Jamieson? I'd put in something a bit better, older, Knob Creek bourbon maybe.
Really nice build mate well done!! But come on sort the music out 😣
That's awesome!
the plans wouldnt load for some reason awesome build i wouldnt mind trying to build one
Muy bonito trabajó
Cuál sería el precio
Gracias
That's awesome! Loving your channel. You have another subscriber.
Bought the plans and hopefully I do half as good of a job as you did. What'd you finish it with?
@@Benham_Design awesome man, looks so good.
beautiful! really love the details and your techniques for achieving some of those details. :D
what a lovely piece... subscribed
Phenomenal!
That is a great box. I've been enjoying all of your videos. Why didn't you go for a nice stop hinge?
Brian Benham I made an exact replica, instead of having shot glasses on both sides I replaced one side with vanilla Cigars.
Professor's Christmas Present..
Nice!
Well done. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing. I hit the subscribe button!!
Scott
Very nice.....
What was the piece used to hold up the bottle neck?
It was just a piece of wood I turned on the lathe.
Love the Video - but I also love the music
The guy on guitar - who is he?
what kind of glue did you use on the box
Very nice, what kind of wood is it?
Brian that's one of the nicest things I've seen here, sub'd!
Do you use epoxy for everything?
Thanks for the reply. I build guitars and use it for a few things, mostly when I don't to introduce moisture. Been wanting to get more into furniture, etc. Great vids!
Wow the haters. Very nice . Continue to set that bar high, don’t give it away. And for the haters... jealousy gets you know where. God doesn’t like ugliness.
Beautiful work, sir!
Jameson....isn't that usually in a brown paper bag???? To use that just shows bad judgement...
@@Benham_Design thats like building a garage out of gold for your 1984 Nissan
Beautiful piece of art! Just be sure not to put a corked whisky in there -- it will ruin the whisky...
Wood working knowledge 9/10. Whiskey Selection 2/10.
@@Benham_Design The woodworking was great I would've put 10/10 but there's always that group that says there's always room for improvement. Just busting your chops on the whiskey! Great video!
After all that he put in a bottle of Jameson?!
lol that makes so much more sense.
Just as a side, seek out High West, or 1792 whiskey.
Great vid. You are amazing at what you do, there is no doubt. But do people really pay $550.00 for this ?
+Brian Benham Then don't stop brother :) But I'm trying to find a vid on that butterfly inlay that you did on that bench? do you have a vid for that good sir ?
+Brian Benham sounds great, looking forward to seeing it,,,,
I just found your channel, and loving the videos. I know on this project you used West System, do you use epoxy on all your builds? I have watched a couple, and not sure if you are using it on just the joints, or everywhere? Thanks for sharing
Awesome project and looks great. however selling that at $550 is just ridiculous! No one will pay that much for it.
It's a felt lined, walnut box with mahogany lid, what do you think quality lumber costs? This isn't some home depot knotty pine job.
550 is actually a bargain for such craftsmanship
Its not craftmanship, the machines done all the work for him!
Brian Benham he's clearly ignorant, I wouldn't let comments such as his bother me
Fair comment mate, its the first video I've seen of yours. However, I'm not ignorant, its just that my understanding of craftsmanship is handskills otherwise you're just engineering. I'm not doubting your abilities, you clearly know your way around the machines and its a lovely box but if we start describing machine work as 'craftsmanship' it depreciates the value of true craftmanship which is working with your hands. And I'm not talking about 'primitive', a highly skilled craftsman can do everything a machine can do, and then some.
Nice video, but a horribel music, so I muted the sound, sorry
Totally Awesome Talent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☠️❤️🛠
You don't go through the process of making an entire box for whiskey and then just but Jamieson. The raw wood itself is worth more than the bottle.
Bacana
The overnoise made this totally unwatchable without muting it.
i cain think of anyone would like get that box.
Very nice!
the plans wouldnt load for some reason awesome build i wouldnt mind trying to build one
Very nice!!
