- I thought Youngji had an insurmountable level of energy that can not be topped. Well Dogyum is way up there. Joshua is an interesting character too. Very caring and cool kinda dude. Now I am genuinely afraid of watching all 13 of them in a show. Just two was this crazy then...all thirteen would be a force of nature.
I don't even know why but, I laughed so much but my cheeks were hurting.

Many Seventeen members love to give out spoilers (Hoshi is very notorious for it) so they decided on a rule that whoever gives obvious spoilers before a comeback has to pay 300M won. It's become an inside joke between them and it was mentioned a few times on Going Seventeen (their variety show). And since GoSe is pretty popular, other shows they guest on often refer to GoSe inside jokes.

Hoshi is the craziest of them all actually. His energy unbelievably even seventeen members have difficult times to control him.

All members of seventeen together in their show "going seventeen" is loud but I'm sure it's totally fun . They always come up with different things and it's so entertaining. you'll get to know them well too .
I laughed so much watching this! DK and Joshua seem like such genuinely nice guys. From their great personalities to making sure the staff eats... they're awesome!
And the level of energy is insane. No need for diets if you got that much energy. Lol
The only point of the "Star" game and its many variants (those who watch GoSe will know the spiderman game version) is just to be funny actually. They keep on upping the ante until one of them can't fight the embarrassment anymore and they lose lol.
Basically in GoSe, you can get away with everything as long as you're funny 😂
Are you sure they actually become embarrassed? They seem impenetrable to me. Thick diamond skin.
They do have thicker skin than normal but not all of Seventeen is as crazy as you're seeing here don't worry 😂
I would say DK, Hoshi and Seungkwan are the most energetic, Joshua and Jeonghan are calmer but start a lot of shenanigans and the rest is happy to just sit back and enjoy the chaos initiated by those 5 😅
SVT truly is RICH rich😂 They be giving out expensive wiskey and custom mics like it’s nothing. For their recent comeback they sold 4,6Million albums with pre-orders alone. They also recently got back from a stadium world tour
Hoshi is shy on other variety shows, because he is kinda introvert, but Going Seventeen is their "home" show. Their true energy and madness shows LOL, it quite similar with what DK and Joshua brought to this show today. That's why Going Seventeen is so popular and receive high praised in Korea not only with fandom (Carat) but also be enjoyed by the public and people in variety industry themselves. Like other idol groups and PD, staffs from different popular variety shows enjoy watching them and said it's "top tier idol variety show". You can just give it a try once and you will totally understand LOL
There are sooooo many episodes already so you might feel lost when you decide to start, but here are some recommendations:
I noticed that you haven't known all SVT names and faces yet so this MBTI episodes will be a good one, it's hidden camera, each member show up one by one and you can really see their personalities :))

- Going SVT TTT : many seasons too, but the most popular one is "Hyperrealism" (around 2-3 eps for each season) .The theme of TTT just pure team meeting (only SVT themselves), go for retreat, alcohol involved LOL you can see SVT in their real habitat in here.
- Don't Lie : many seasons as well, all worth watching. theme is Mafia's game.
- Debate night : debate competition where nothing makes sense at all LOL you will be admire how their nonsense mind work in here .
- Insomnia zero : a member would try to sleep for three minutes with a heart rate meter while the rest try to bother him LOL this is hilarious!!!!
- For Honor theme, check out "The Tag" and "EGO".
- For Mind game theme, "One million won" , "Bad clue" and "Good offer".
- If you prefer Physical activity, you might want to watch "Let's go Seventeen" and "Four wheels rider"
SVT is not THAT crazy, don’t worry. DK, Seungkwan and Hoshi are usually the loudest members, the rest are really funny but a bit more chill. The 13 of them work strangely well together. The other members are usually able to keep DK in check but since it’s just the 2 of them and he’s excited to be on Youngji’s show there’s no stopping him😂
I second this! :) SVT together have always said that if the 13 of them all spoke everything they wanted to say, it would take too much time, and as an unknown bg when they debuted, they learned to adjust and make it work... (And they said they rarely go on talk shows as OT13 because of this.) But in GoSe, they get briefed on the theme for that episode, and it's no holds barred! 🤣
Cz they also know that they can't be handled by anyone when they're together 😅
I mean it depends, when they are drinking, ususally most hype are Coups and Gyu 😂😂
YES! They had a collab with Youngji, title of their song is FIGHTING - BSS(BooSeokSoon). Boo(Seungkwan) Seok(Seokmin/Dokyeom) Soon(Soonyoung/Hoshi) of SEVENTEEN! I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy that song so please watch the MV! It's very motivational, it was released last January and has won lots of music show awards.

U should watch Hoshi in Going Seventeen. In my opinion, he is the most hype, among his members. In terms of energy, he is a direct competitor for DK
Hoshi? Really? The shows that I watched he was so soft-spoken. Even in Yougji show, he just passed out and cried. LOL
@@komerican-og hoshi is definitely one of the most hype and funny members of the group! while it is true that he can be more timid at times especially when hes in unfamiliar environments and also considers himself an introvert the guy lovesss attention and he makes sure to have everyones eyes on him when he wants them to! you can really see this when he performs on stage but also when watching their variety show going seventeen, he just gets these crazy bursts of energy and makes everyone laugh its hilarious

Don't worry there are some introverted and quiet members in Seventeen but they don't go on variety shows without the full group lol. So if you watch the variety shows with the outgoing members, there's too much energy; but when they're all together it's still high energy but theres a balance and members who can keep members like Hoshi and Dokyeom calm. There are about like 5-6 chill members, so it's not THAT bad.
Hoshi is probably the most insane member of the group but he's too shy when he's not with his members which is the only setting you've seen him in. Dokyeom is a very close second but the two of them tend to collaborate so their energy is like x1000 together. But if you sit them next to members like Wonwoo, Woozi, and Vernon who tend to be low energy, they mellow out a little by being around them.
Shua is the type that has a calm and collected image and he might not be the most talkative or high energy person with seventeen, but you'll always find him instigating chaos.
Don't forget, Hoshi and DK are actually introvert (MBTI) but they're the loudest duo of seventeen 😆 😅 even on BSS those two are the loudest that make other members said seungkwan who is an Extrovert looks so calm and Normal in BSS lol

Seventeen's main producing member Woozi is going to be on Suchwita May 1st. He doesn't drink alcohol due to the reason you mentioned about turning red, but I think his allergy is a bit worse than turning red. His episode on Suchwita is going to be interesting due to the lack of alcohol but also because people have been wanting for YEARS to get Suga and Woozi in a room together due to them having very similar passions for music, as producers. Woozi is a quiet and reserved person and he doesn't go on variety shows alone due to his personality just not suiting them, so him going on Suchwita is a big deal due to the anticipation.

The reason Hoshi wasn't so crazy in the episode was he got drunk real fast... Sober Hoshi is a menace especially in "Dont Lie eps" of Going seventeen (SVT variety show) but Drunk Hoshi is just cute.. And to answer your question Yes all 13 of them are like this.. Even the members who are considered silent are freaking crazy on Going SVT.. Also the song(its called Fighting) Lee Youngji collaborated with SVT's special subunit BooSeokSoon.. it consists of the gag trio (as in the funniest members) BOO Seungkwan, Lee SEOKmin (Dokyeom's real name) and Kwon SOONyoung (Hoshi's real name)..
the timeline of youngji and svt's interactions is she's friends with seungkwan so last year he went on the old version of her show, they did a cover of lizzo's juice together too, then a few month later hoshi went on her new show and two months ago she featured on BSS's first comeback in five years, Fighting, and performed at music shows with them. (also since woozi will be on suchwita soon you should watch his solo song, Ruby ^^)
19:50 this made me laugh so hard HAHAHA hoshi and dk are the craziest in seventeen but not all of the other members are that energetic. they are definitely chaotic all together though 🤣

Fun fact about them:
1. Lee youngji was a big fan of seventeen when she was in middle school with Hoshi as her bias, that's why she always nervous around them and know all their songs
2. Lee Youngji doesn't like attention and praise because she's actually a shy person, that's why she kinda feel afraid with DK lol
3. Lee youngji already completed her BSS dragon ball for her show (Seungkwan, Hoshi,DK) and 4/13 of seventeen
4. DK is an INTROVERT!!!!!!
He is the leader of BSS .
He kinda reminds me of Korean's MC Yoo Jaesuk (TMI DK's father name is Lee Jaesuk lol) both are introvert but so good at MCing and taking care of their staff and people around them, even how DK called Youngji also similar with how YJS call Youngji + Lee youngji also treat YJS like how she treat DK, YJS said she also never replied his message lol
5. Carats thought Joshua is the most Normal member in Seventeen event though some members already told carat that Joshua is crazy lol
6. Seventeen has filming schedule with Na PD the next day when this video was filmed and the camera director which is Going seventeen cameramen is also Na PD (the Journey to the west) cameramen, he was pretty famous among NJTW fans as Pikachu PD (you can find his viral video with Eun Jiwon and NJTW casts)
Anyway, thank you so much for this video, really love your insights about small things about korean culture that we international fans often confuse or missed, like the English game things, whiskey in korea etc , always learned something from this channel. ❤

I laughed so hard at "hoshi's not that crazy", while they're filming going seventeen he's often the most crazy. But to answer your question, none of them are completely sane but there are definitely more relaxed guys and they don't all bring out their crazyness at the exact same time. I also think that they're used to interacting in that group of 13 so something about it feels a bit more balanced. Expect a lot of cheating tho, there are no rules that can't be broken in the name of an "entertaing show" for them

There are a lot of contents where they play mind games that actually require thinking. So i would say the show is interesting

dk hoshi and seungkwan are the gag trio of seventeen, crazy energy and personalities. hoshi was pretty reserved on youngjis show compared to how he is with his members on going seventeen. and seungkwan is the only extrovert out of those 3 and yet compared to dk and hoshi he seems like an introvert at times

when they are alone, they can be pretty chill (key word can) like Hoshi, but when together most time is an hilarious chaos. If you add playing game in their variety show going seventeen it's madness, cause they are crazy competitive and love having fun, making fun of each others and making things fun for others

Seventeen are unbridled chaos when they’re sober as well, hoshi also likes to be as insane as he can on going seventeen (specifically don’t lie). I recommend checking out going seventeen because the members thrive off of being as entertaining as they can, in games they literally let anything happen and the only rule is that it has to be funny.
you should watch going seventeen, maybe the talent show episode or the mafia/dont lie episodes, theyre really funny

When I first encountered Seventeen and started watching their content (was around 2020) I was the same! Smiling so much it hurt without really knowing why, there's just something so genuine in their happiness you can't help but smile and laugh with them. Others too but DK especially is just so pure and real!
And if you enjoyed this, I'm sure you'll like Going seventeen too! It's not as overwhelming as you might think from this! Sure, they're energetic, but there are more calm episodes too! If you want to see a crazier version of Hoshi, I absolutely recommend watching Don't lie 2!

I hope you watch Going Seventeen. There are a lot of contents, so if you look at just a few of them in the Legends episode. you'll be able to know members' characters. If leaked, 300 million is what Going Seventeen said when the music was released! Seventeen fans are called carats(th unit of jewels) but people who only watch content are called cubics.
