    I really struggle to do this when people say it, thankyou for this, it should be
    encouragement to us all to speak up.

    Hey Tris, thanks for this profound message. My daughter-in-law speaks like this, all knowing my faith and love of Jesus. To keep the peace with her and my son, I too have kept quiet. But, I hear you and if the opportunity arises again, I will say something to defend Jesus as I too don’t want to be asked especially by Him if I was ashamed.

    My mother is a bible Thumper.
    Thanks to her my 4 siblings, and their kids ( her grandkids) got the medical intervention.
    Thats 27 souls brainwashed by 1 soul who (did'nt fear not).
    Led to the slaughter by organised society.
    I on the other hand deeply love my bloodstream.
    I have done my best.
    I feel no guilt.
    I am not responsible for brainwashed victims.
    I am however responsible for bringing their assailants to justice ( whether lawful or legal).
    No man has a better love❤ than to lay down his life for his friend.
    Millions of us are in our 4th year of doing that.
    Thanks for the update.

    I sometimes say "is Lord!" When they say it. It's emotionally painful when it happens. Even deeper than emotion. I feel sorry for them but I feel guilty when I don't say something. Letting it slide sucks but I still let it slide most of the time. It hurt every time though

      I do too. Sometimes it happens so often that you’d be pulling people up all the time over it 🤷‍♂️ the moral state of the world is bad for many reasons, and all of them are linked to a lack of fear of the Lord. But nothing says ‘no fear of the Lord’ more than using His name in vain, imo.

    Hello, how funny, this is like watching a video of myself. This has happened soo many times to me and I’ve let it torment me. The family of believers around the world really do go through the same thing. I made someone at work jump, and they said “Jesus Christ”! I said, what, I’m not God! They didn’t respond lol. I’ve found that sometimes it’s best not too get into overthinking and blaming ourselves but just being lighthearted around darkness. Humour is, at the right times, effective against evil.

    • @BrotherTris
      @BrotherTris  Před 19 dny +1

      That’s so very true! When humour is clean, it’s a very powerful tool against darkness. There’s a video in that itself I think!

    Mr Trousers here. I don't think you have to get on your high horse, but you can do it in a light hearted way. It's a good opportunity to start a conversation about Jesus. And you don't have to be confrontational at all (no need to whinge on about being offended). Just say "Ah, yes, Jesus of Nazareth. I take it you're not a believer then. Yes, people do use his name as a swear word. But I'm not upset because I believe that one day every knee will bow..." It's an open invitation to talk about him. Do that a few times and people will soon stop abusing his name.

      Not massively experienced but it does irk me quite a bit when I hear people say "Jesus" as a swear word, so this video of yours resonates with me, and I have picked people up on it. Good video.

    New follower here trying to learn.
    shouldnt you just always focus on yourself and relationship with god? Otherwise wouldnt one life there constantly trying to correct other people who sin?

    • @BrotherTris

      Hi, welcome. This IS a video about me and my relationship with God. But on top of that, we are called to evangelise and represent the kingdom of God as well as possible to others, and that includes letting others know when they might cross a line, for THEIR sake. We don’t want anyone to perish, and this is why we sometimes have to challenge those who do not yet know the Lord. Blessings!

    Dear brother Tris - Please don’t beat yourself up over this. Maybe it was right just to connect with this man and build up a rapport with him when you spoke. Perhaps the right time will come with him, and he will listen and heed what you say because he likes and trusts you. God’s timing isn’t our timing. I think he was preparing something in both of you. Keep open to the Spirit and he will guide you in everything. Jesus was the best example of knowing when to keep silent that we could have

    • @BrotherTris
      @BrotherTris  Před 4 měsíci

      Thank you sister! I've actually had acquaintance with him for several years now, and it seems to be quite regular of him to have a potty mouth, especially blasphemy, to varying degrees.
      As I'm a decorator, and he is employed by the local builder merchant, I come into contact with him quite a few times a year.
      This time was particularly grating to me however, and there was a little bit of silence after he blasphemed where I COULD have said something this time, but didn't. I feel I let the Lord down, as much as myself or anyone else, and that's the worst part.
      Honestly though, this video is just as much about trying to edify the body of Christ in connection with me and using myself as an example of weakness and failure to help those who want to listen to me, to also recognise and find the courage to have an answer to such occasions, just as much as it was a genuine repentance from the conviction I felt after the incident, especially when I remember and am confronted by those particular devastating words of our Lord Jesus Christ.

      You do a great job of using yourself as an example and I love the honesty of your thoughts. I’m sure we have all been in similar situations, with the same feelings of guilt for not speaking afterwards. But emember that Jesus always blessed and invited rather than wagged the finger. Your silence after this builder’s merchant swore was more than likely enough to hold up a mirror to him. The Holy Spirit does will do rest. I’m glad I found your channel today - God bless you, young brother!
