I was one of the few ones who did the hike. After one long trip to the top, i knew that was it. Wednesday storm came and they opened V8 lifts. I was ecstatic! Imagine coming back with 40+ lifts operational, the feeling was sensationally epic.
Opening Day at @perisher_resort 🏂 Every Snowboarder has a HUGE amount of patience! Having to wait for winter to come around each year is tough! Today was opening day for the resorts here is Australia but some didn’t open. Just 3 days ago, the slopes were literally grass! Miraculously we got a dumping of snow just in time! However, the resort decided only to run the magic carpet (for beginners) and us powder hunters were left gutted. Our patience has been tested this year by not having any lifts running when other years we’d be out in full force.
