One of the most important factors when making EDC considerations is the type of holster you're going for. Shinobi Kydex have bee around for a long time and thier gear has gotten better and better. From the early days of the channel where I reviewed their first Katana holsters, their improvements are noticeable and it really does put them amongst the top in the country.

I recently found your channel and loving the content. Lekker to have a South African channel!! I'm a "BIG" guy so struggling to find a proper location for carrying my edc. I recently sold my G19 and bought the new G43x. Any advise on a holster for a big guy? I would like to try appendix carry but no holster seem manageable with my body type :(

Hi @Ryan, I have a Canik Elite Combat with a streamlight TLR 1 HL and struggeling to get holsters in SA. I have reached out to Shinobi Kydex and they responded that the do not make holsters that can accommodate the streamlight. South West Holsters also don't make holsters that works with my light combo.
I have also reached out to several other local companies with no luck. Tier 1 concealed seems to be my best option but they do not ship to S.A. Do you perhaps have any recommendations.

if nobody else can help then go check out Sniper in Paarden Eiland. Take your gun with the full setup you have they make it for you right there within an hour. Amazing service for my gun. I have a Canik TP9 Sub Elite with O light mini 2 as well as Mekanin MO2 red dot and before all the holsters became available I searched everywhere with no luck. They had the answer. you can make it up in any way you wish. It works if you are based in CPT though.
